Good season finale! It was a dark and intense episode, but I expect the Spectre which was kind of disappointing to see it was just more hints. I guess he became Spectre in one the later episode that didn't come to fruition.

I knew Manny was up to something since the last episode he was Zed's vision, I didn't he would be involved in the Brujeria, let alone be their leader. Solid twist.

Hope the series finds a new home, come on SyFy! I'll forgive you for cancelling Being Human, or NBC gets their heads out of their ass and just make this a 13 episode series.

The midseason finale before the holidays ended with a cliffhsnger, immediate danger that was seconds away from killing John.
Am I the only one who didnt seet the season finale as a cliffhanger?

It wasn't a cliffhanger in the same way that the midseason finale was. But ending the episode like that with us not being sure if we would even get a second season definitely feels like a cliffhanger. Just like how Twin Peaks season 2 ended with [BLACKOUT]Cooper possessed by BOB[/BLACKOUT]. Except in the case of Twin Peaks, people had to wait twenty five years for a third season.

Being Human got a proper series finale, the producers and the cast decided to end it in Season 4:

And I think when people re-watch these 13 episodes, they’ll realize that all the episodes are leading to the end of the series. And, that’s really satisfying.”

You and the producers have been very upfront about your decision to end the series this season for budgetary reasons. Is there more that you want to address? Why couldn’t Syfy and the producers work out a bigger budget?

SW: Well, it isn’t as simple as getting a bigger budget. When you do a show like this and you come up with an operating budget, everyone agrees on it. So to come back later and say, ‘Just kidding, it’s actually a more expensive show than we thought,’ that’s a complicated conversation. I wish it were as easy as saying, ‘We need more money. Give us more money.’ It’s really not that simple. This was a modestly budgeted show from the beginning and, honestly, that’s part of what we enjoyed about doing it. There’s not much oversight. You have producers doing the jobs of executive producers. You have actors doing the job as producers. You have writers throwing directions at the actors. And what that gives you, especially as an actor, is creative opportunities, wealth of creative understanding and experience. To me that’s worth not having the biggest budget, having to hurry all the time, not having the best-stocked Craft Services table, because that means you’re becoming a better artist.

If a show deserves a second season, is Constantine, hopefully Warner will do everything they can to keep it on air, they have several options as owners of HBO, the CW, TBS, etc.

The CW isn't an option as Jason pointed out in the General Discussion thread and he has a point; especially when they still have Supernatural around. They're not going to let it die anymore than Fox won't let Bones die unless either leads from said shows call it quits. While Law & Order was our generation's Gunsmoke, both said shows may be our proverbial Ed Sullivan and Red Skelton in being long in the tooth on air. Or ****ing Bonanza!!

With HBO, that may require Warner to strongarm Michael Lombardo into taking the show in and TBS is more comedy prone than drama-prone

Cinemax, on the other hand, may be an interesting challenge

To be honest NBC are morons who apparently do not understand how this "new" business works.

Basically they got a deal for a comic books show, so they can make tons of money, because you know... comic books make tons of money. Since people are dumb and like everything comics, why wouldn't it work, right?

They look at the big movie craze, CW, AMC and ABC and are convinced that with no effort on their end, they'll get huge amount on money.

Well it doesn't work that way. It actually takes some effort.
All other networks have gone out their way to promote their shows and put them in the best time slots. I believe that the Walking Dead is the only TV show to this date, that I've seen billboards of in my country.

What did NBC do? They put it in the worst day, late at night, hoping it would make the cash and are showing absolutely no faith in the show.
How am I supposed to start watching if I haven't till now, when they can't convince me the show won't be canceled? Hadn't I been a big comic book fan, I wouldn't have even heard of it. Most of my friends do not watch it cause they never heard of it, before I told them.

So Constantine failing is not on the show, it's on NBC.

While I did not know it would be this, I agree right from the beginning I thought something was odd about how helpful and convienent that situation with [blackout]Manny[/blackout] was. That ending just cemented that distrust.

I want to see where they intend to go with the series. Hopefully it does end up on SyFy or some other network.

The two best episodes of the series were the adaptations of comic book issues. I think they should continue with that and build their Rising Darkness storyline on episodes that fit. Also, did anybody else notice the longer double breasted trench coat at the end ?

They put too much ad time into the doomed State of Affairs (had that one occured right after Heigl's Grey's departure it would've been a hit but six years after the fact who gives a damn?), The Slap (based on the first episode review, I'll just get the book and original TV version on DVD instead seeing as the network has a poor track record with adapting international shows while got lucky with two results: Sanford & Son and The Office in a 42 odd year timespan), that new medic show, and that nauseating Peter Pan Live mess than they done for the show and it doesn't do the network any favors. If anything, they could've aired the show midseason as part of the new Drama Thursday line-up at 9.

After all this, I can easily see CBS dropping the ball with Supergirl as well come later this year or 2016. You mark my words!

The CW could be an option if Warner wants to, they're the boss. TNT is owned by TBS, and since TNT already has the Titans, maybe they would like to have Constantine too for the crossover potential. Hopefully, we'll know soon enough the show's fate.

Again with talks of meaningless crossovers...

ANYWHERE BUT the CW will suffice. The show already got flack as is from those who remain upset over the early lack of smoke and the so-called "bi-erasure". Putting the show on the CW would make things harder than it already has been. Plus I sure as hell don't want Berlanti's mitts on ol' Conjob.

Let the fecking CW idea GO, people!

Every time someone mentions CW as a new home for Constantine, the only reason they bring up is crossing it over with Arrow and Flash. That's it.

CW wouldn't pick up an NBC show that only averages a 0.9. They already have two shows that do better than that (plus one that ties it) and all of them are likely much less expensive than Contsantine. And if Constantine moved to a smaller network, you can bet that 0.9 average would drop.

Not to mention that Constantine is another Warner show, and the way CW is set up they have to have 50% Warner and 50% CBS owned shows.

They already have Flash and Arrow, iZombie starts next month, Vixen is coming to their web service, and it's almost a sure thing that we're going to get a fourth live action DC show on the network next fall. There's no way Warner wants six DC Comics shows on the same network next year. They'd have basically no room for anything else on the network because of the CBS deal.

SyFy was never even considering picking this up, CW isn't happening, and NBC isn't happening. At this point it's about 99% cancelled, with a slight chance of a web service saving the day.

It has occurred to me that I actually only saw Flash (the character) in some sort of a cross-over episode of "Arrow", which was ****ty of course...

So I stand corrected. That is, I allow for the possibility that "The Flash" isn't ****.
