well if he ran over a cop, then tried to flee, then i can see where they're coming from..

It's wrong to run over anyone and try to flee but what you don't do is fire 50 rounds at them. They're cops. They know the law better than anyone else. Would it be that hard to take down the liscense plate number? And wasn't the guy hit by the car and not actually run over? He's still alive if I recall. These cops just flat out overreacted. They were angry, they had guns, so the first thing they do is fire at the car. The guy was getting away but it was simple hit and run. He even crashed into the police car...Why couldn't they just apprehend him? If they were to drive off, why can't they have just tracked them down? This whole thing is just so damn pointless. These guys acted like they were in a gang or something.

I just can't give the cops the benefit of the doubt in this one. Too many things don't add up. They(the officers) claim that they overheard that the men where on their way to kill someone and that one of the men remarked, "get my gun and let's go". Wait there's more. The officers then decided to follow them to this location(whereever they thought the crime was going to be commited). First off, why not intercept them if you know that they are off to supposedly kill someone? Why wait and follow them into an environment that would be harmful to everyone and pointless since you have evidence of them wanting to commit a crime? Next, the mofos pumped a machine gun magazine full of bullets in those guys. One cop's gun is said to fire 30+ shots and his gun only hold 16 rounds at one time. Also, the panic-attack thing is dumb. Panic from what? Yourself? Sure wasn't panic enough since you re-load your gun. According to Kelly the car hit the undercover cop, hit a van and some other acrobatic things before it jumped a curb. If this is what they are going to use to justify the shooting then well, that is just wrong.
