My grandfather passed away this past weekend (no relation to COVID) but now the family is holding a service and want to have a get-together at my grandmother’s home (per her request). Most don’t wear masks other than my parents.

My anxiety is at an all time high with this situation.

Tell the ones you like to stay away, tell grandma it's a bad idea and don't go yourself. If they don't listen now, well you did your best.

Maybe also E-Mail or text grandma some of the stories of such get togethers and their aftermath.

After that, having done your duty as a moral person, if they persist... It's all on them.

Other parts of the UK & Ireland are in semi-lockdowns, however I personally think having a half-assed lockdown won't have any significant impact. If they want results, 4 week hard national lockdown might actually give the chance for some people to spend at least Christmas Day with their loved ones.
