yea its probably a white glove or an off white/cream color. YEa its going to be a long time to render the suit and all that. We will probably see an early look at the cgi effects maybe at comic con, or if first teaser trailer comes out later this yr. But like for example iron man if you remember the first teaser that showed the tank scene from first film it didnt look that great, but by the time film was released it looked great. That is probably whats going to happen with gl suit.

Well, if DC is truely going to "steal the show" at CC as they have said, I'd imagine we'll get a very small dose of footage with the suit reveal, otherwise I can't imagine how they would take the spotlight as strongly.

all i know is that if the costume designers think using a textured fabric makes it feel "alien" then they should be burned at the stake because the superman returns suit was lame (as was the spiderman but thats marvel) if they want an "alien" style suit then it should be like a second skin all one piece and not a crappy dark knight rip off costume or some lame light based suit

A skin tight/one-piece suit with no depth, texture, or topography would look horrible on screen.

with the tank scene they made an artistic change not a quality change.

Ok if the skin would look dumb then what about something that looks like snakes suit from metal gear solid 4

I don't know why it's so alien in my opinion but it was cool and original

I also like the suits from the anime gantz which are infact alien suits that enhance your strength and reflexes

Those are perfect examples of what we are talking about. It's a topographical and textured light armor body suit.

The people who think it should just be a flat multi-colored skin are kidding themselves thinking it will look good.

Yea i am sure they will probably have a scene or two they are going to show at comic con. Then of course probably do a full real of early cg render of the film's costume. as for glow probably will happen when his powers are active.

I thought that MultiPurposePoni over at CBM interviewed one of the crew members of the film and got him to admit that the costume looked like the comicbook. The guy said that the cosutme looked something like this:

except the gloves were a little shorter and not as simple looking. The guy also described the colors to "subtilely shift around" as fit it were "made of pure energy". This doesn't look like armor to me so I don't know why people are still suggesting that it will be.

The Superman suit was not an energy suit. Maybe you are confusing one thing with something else that we haven't seen yet.

Maybe a teaser trailer and a poster for GL. To "steal the show" though, I think they'd need more than that, awesome as it'll be. Maybe Nolan there to announce the 3rd Batman villain, and who will play Superman. It might still be too early for any solid Superman announcements, but it would kick ass.

For sure, there will be a panel with the cast. And footage.

Then WB/DC will pull out the big stops. Mostly slates for their upcoming films:

Possibilities:

-Announcement for Batman 3 would be a given. For sure, I think they're reveal the title and start date for production. Keep in mind that Heath Ledger was announced as The Joker during the 2006 Comic Con, if I'm not mistaken. So there's a possiblity of a casting announcement, or even the reveal of the villain.

-Superman might get the same treatment. I'm thinking of a final release date and maybe, the director. I hope that's the case.

-The Flash. I can see the writers talking about the project with Geoff Johns. Director-wise, it might be too early.
