Cause I have yet to shell over the money to go HD.

Wii come to me!!!!!
I didn't like get a pre-order or anything... I'll probably pick up Zelda with it (I pre-ordered the Wii version) but I might not play it until I can get the Gamecube version and try that out, then try out the Wii version and see which game I'm going to play.
Spoken like the true Sony fan girl herself.Zenien said:Flicking the remote to swing the sword seems lame, plus things like the sheild bash etc. It wasn't until recently that some sites have said the Wii version has better controls, before that it was 100 percent the standard version, and maping the sword button to the controller flick instead of the A button or whatever doesn't sound like a ground breaking change. Since I wasn't convinced by the controls before, I'm not sure what tweaks they really could have made to make the journalists dramatically impressed in the 11th hour (moneyhats?).
Mostly as gastly as it sounds to some Wind Waker controlled just fine -with a wavebird- and I'd be perfectly happy to play the Twilight Princess - with a wavebird-. Nothing I've seen of the Wii controls are captiaving in any way when it comes to this game, so it will be the execution and actually trying the controls out for myself that will make me be able to call which version I'm going to play with.
Needless waggle is beyond lame, basically. They just better keep it out of Smash Brothers.

Component cables will be $30 for the Nintendo brand. They have some madcatz ones out there for $60, but that's stupid.JustABill said:How much are the component cables for the Wii and can you use them only on HD TVs or no?

BTW... SSB wont use the Wiimote at all its uses the GC or the Classic controller.

Finding them will be the treat.JustABill said:I'm moving some stuff in my room around tommorrow, I'll check the TV tommorrow, I might get me some component cables of the Nintendo Brand if my TV supports them.

What time does Toys open?Kipobe said:Actually, I'm glad she'll be able to review it for me. I was actually thinking of waiting until Dec. 15th when the component cables will be released to actually play it, but I doubt I will. I have no such patience.
PS - I can't seem to post a thread in this forum, but anyway, Toys 'R' Us seems to be taking pre-orders for the Wii AGAIN tomorrow morning. A second wave of the festivities. If you've missed if before, I guess this'll be your last chance. I doubt you'll be able to just pick one up on launch.
PPS - the new Zelda retrospective is up over at gametrailers.com.... next week's episode will wrap up the whole thing, linking all Links together.
