Countdown to WONDER WOMAN

^That cover and Byrne's for #118 are great. I don't even regard Byrne as highly as I did when I was reading his runs on X-Men and Fantastic Four in the '80s, but that's a really nice cover.

That Hughes cover, though...oof. More tracing.

I like it. There's a certain charm to the style. :woot:

95 days until Wonder Woman

I generally don't care for the romance between superheroes, but that's a sweet image.

Just be glad Greg Land never did Wonder Woman. Of the two, I find Hughes' tracing to be much less obnoxious.

#125 is another winner. No shortage of emotion in that image, with the toppled vase sealing the deal.

Electric Superman almost ruins it though... I love '90s JLA, but could never get behind that design.

It's similar to one of the suits Nicolas Cage was going to wear.

What trip down memory lane this thread is.

With demon eyes and horns? Mate, you've been hanging in the wrong clubs. :p

In the spirit of the "helmet" discussion in the main thread...

^WOW. You've outdone yourself, Angel. That's the Pick of the Week. A writer could craft a hundred stories with that image alone. Plus, it's beautifully rendered. I love the Barlowe-esque skull thing tucked away below Linda Blair's niece.
