Here ya go all you writers and creative geniuses out there on the hype. Design your own Lantern character and the storyline that are based around said fictional hero.

Ive always felt that the Lanterns were a cool concept, but the main characters were just lacking in my eyes. So lets get some good ideas down on paper.

Synopsis: In the wake of Tomar Tu's death, the guardians are forced to find a replacement for him, another junior lantern who will be able to weild the great power responsibly. They choose Kara Zor El, a native of Krypton, in the sector searching for a lost chunk of Krypton, the continent Argo. Kara's great will is tempered by her mentor's careful instruction and while she may be Supergirl on earth, elsewhere she's the GREEN LANTERN.

Green Lantern...sector 2251.0 Earth

In a new age of technology, a man named Murice Dobson lived a normal life. He worked a normal job at a pizza place and earned normal pay. He lives with a friend in a small apartment, smokes and does computers and art and likes to watch movies. While standing on his pation on the second story a beam of light from space above Phoenix, Arizona made contact and found a mysterious ring on his finger. When he transformed he designed his own unique look based on his favorite subject...superheroe's. A villain in the form of rich companies is who he fought and fights for people who cant fight on their own as GL of Earth.
