Simple game. Unlimited players.

You know these movies, the ones that seem to desperately want a Best Picture Oscar, that conveniently get released in the fourth quarter of the year so they're eligible for Awards Season (September-through-December).

Some prime (and recent examples). And please do not mistake my examples as those that are made solely for the purpose of winning an Oscar. Some of these are great pieces of art that deserve recognition ... But let us not forget that they were aware of their content and release date:

J. Edgar
In the Land of Blood and Honey
Moneyball
The Ides of March
The Descendants
A Dangerous Method
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

There are of course, thousands of examples, so here are two that are completely made up:

WASHINGTON
- A biopic on George Washington, 1st US President

MAN IN THE MIRROR
- A biopic on Michael Jackson, the King of Pop

It's that easy! Give as many details as you want, or make it short and sweet!

Alright sure!

Um, Tom Hanks and Kristen Stewart play FDR's early years. Oh that was easy!

A scientist invents a time machine and uses it to save Holocaust victims from WWII Europe.

Unfortunately, he is Rwandan.

Also he has terminal cancer. His son is a troubled wunderkind attempting to win an international debate championship against racist Dutchmen from South Africa.

Also it's a silent film for some reason.

A success story about a foreign man who travels the world and finds... success. On his journey, he falls in love, meets a well-known international figure, meets a more infamous figure, and confronts various physical threats whilst dealing with his own internal conflict. All of this has some abstract allegorical meaning to it that's relevant to whatever time it's released.

Director: Robert Zemeckis

Inexplicably, this also happens during the Holocaust.

and features a five second cameo by Meryl Streep as classy male prostitute, for which she wins another oscar.
