Creature From The Black Lagoon Remake.

Did anybody ever read that script review of the script written by some man named Gary Ross. In that script the Gill-Man had a tadpole baby that the explorers were trying to capture.

It needs to be like The Wolfman design for the new movie. Modifications to make it more scary and modern but still retain the original look in some ways. I don't like the overly sized Gill Man. There is a "man" look to it. I see it as a tragic character. A beauty and the beast sort of thing.

The new Gill-Man should be a giant. Like 7 feet. That's scary. It worked for the new versions of the slasher icons perfectly.

icons like micheal myers and jason voorhees have always been that tall even from their original interpretations. also i dont really think making a giant half man half fish like creature, would really work out as being scary. i think what doctor jones said about making some modifications, but still staying true to the original look is the best thing they can do.

Michael was never 7 feet, guys. Only in Rob Zombie films. Nor was Jason, actually.

Seeing a 7 foot snarling half fish half man raising out of a river would creep me out.

If they stay in league with what the Wolfman is trying to do this will be great

^^ Somewhat. Jason was closer.

The guys playing Michael go from 5' 7" (Dick Warlock) to 6'10" (Tyler Mane), but the guys in the middle were all taller than average (about 6' 2"-6' 5").

I think Jackie is a good height, I never seen Freddy as a big guy.

Exactly, but not 7 ft. As i said, it wasn't up until RZH that Michael was around 7 ft or close to it. As you said, Tyler Mane is the tallest Michale yet. Don Shanks and George Wilbur were some of the taller guys though. I mean, they weren't extremely tall, but they were slightly up there.

Also, yes, I agree, Jackie has the perfect height for Freddy.

For real. What's his full name so I can look him up on google to see what he looks like.

Oh, Rorschach is playing Fred.

And I've seen the poster in somebody's avatar, or thumbnail. Whatever it's called. And I thought it was just original fred. It looks sweet too.

There used to be an awesome thread on this a couple of years back - it had some good viewpoints and amazing pictures.

If it still exists, it wouldnt be a bad idea to merge the threads in order for some of the folk on here to have the opportunity to read it.
