Custom Gordon and Bat Signal

Very creative. I'm hoping they come out with a batcave or something because there is no I way I could do this! I'd probably end up getting angry and smash everything :bh:

Nice work!

New Stuff.

I recently saw Passion Designs Joker Van custom which he has posted here and his site:

http://www.passiondesignsinc.com/

I wanted to do a similar van for myself and planned it for sometime. However I couldn't settle on a design. I wanted to do the large truck seen in the film but that would just be crazy and too big. So using His design as inspiration I created my own. Now I was impressed so much with his ideas that I remained close to his original custom, there are some difference though.

My van is not a repaint, it is a ground up custom made from card and balsa wood. The only thing I didn't make was the wheels which I took from a tanker model I originally planned to use as the basis of the larger truck I wanted to make.

Also I decided to change the decals on the sides of the van.

Pictured with the van is also my custom tight masked goon.

I also wanted to do a horse for Scarecrow. So I bought a cheap horse figure toy that fitted with the 6 inch figures. I had to paint it brown.

Here are some shots of my Begins Tumbler and MM Begins Bats

I also bought some soldier figures and SWAT-ed them up. They were perfectly scaled to the MM

I'm now building a street set and still working on the cave.

Dude!!!!!!!!!!! lol sweet truck ............... considering its wood/card material lol ........totally rocks!

Long time no post. Back from New York with a few MMs and a few customs.

I got a wave two Joker and made an interrogation room version, make up is a little more messy, skin is visible. The coat was removed and the arms below the joint were replaced with the spare arms from the Iron Man Prototype figure. Sleeved were matched the the shirt colour. By far my favour piece so far. Simple, quick and fun.

IMG_4863.jpg

I bought a spare Scarcrow for parts, head and hand will go on a spare thug figure and make a suited Scarecrow figure but the legs...dems Gordon's! Now he fits with the six inch MM better, I still have to shorten his arms but i'm OK right now. Complete with walkie talkie and gun.

IMG_4867.jpg

In the film the Joker has thugs with alternative masks to the stand clown ones so I went crazy with a few orginal customs. Some have cloth "tights for masks with smilie faces paint over the material, one had a motor bike helmet with a smile painted on the visor and eyes just over it and one has a baseball helmet and bat. I used a mix of bargin 6 inch figures for these, heavily cut and swapped to have variety.

A sneak at my latest diorama a factory floor with working doors and stuff. Made from a cheap WWE playset with a lot of tweaking.

Also look out to my interrogation room diorama made partially (for the first and last time)from lego.

im blown away by some of your ideas man, and interrogation room joker looks awesome, good work

sheesh, where do you find the time to do all this stuff? how old are you btw?

Thanks guys.

I'm currently on holiday from University so I've had a massive break with which to make all this stuff. I'm 19 years old.

Anyways, I mentioned in my last post my Factory playset I finished quite some time ago but didn't bother posting. I found a WWF Hall of Pain playset for £1 and decided to rework it for my MMs.

hallofpain1.jpg

As you can see the playset is built for the 7 or 8 inch wrestling line but it doesn't look overly large when you put the movie masters on it. I removed the printed backgrounds and floors because they didn't do it for me visually. I kept the plastic parts of the set with working roll up door and barrels. I decided to rebuild cardboard parts in 3D, so I created fuse boxes and pipes and a fire extinguisher. I wanted to make a walkway on the left hand side that figures could stand above. I decided to use one of the old walls in this new construct to give the covered part of the walkway more depth.

I also mentioned my WIP Semi-lego interrogation room diorama. Made mostly from lego with some card used to finish off edges, windows and doors. Pending paint.
I chose Lego becuase its brick size fitted with the MMs' scale.

wow, Dax...amazing work on everything.
Keep us up-dated of the interogation room.

Now I'm inclined to make a Bat Signal.
Very cool :)

definitely not a bad gordon, its not screen accurate but pretty cool nontheless, the bat signal is phenomenal.

those look great, i only hope the guy who does the marvel vs DC gags on youtube uses these :D

Hey all it has been a while, had a little break from customs but it is the Holidays so back to work. I cancelled the cave as it was getting out of hand size wise I still plan on doing a version of it but I have no space for a suitably large cave right now.

Here is what I've been upto.

While I like my Joker Van quite alot I wanted to make one out of an existing van frame reather than a scratch built one. I'll be putting my original van on eBay shortly if anyone is interested.

I used the TMNT "Party Van" toy from the new film, which I picked up for £9.99 from TOYS R US.

Removing the stickers was hard but after that I spray painted it black. At the moment it looks like the A Team van. More on that soon.

IMG_5039.jpg

My second custom is far more interesting. For it I needed the Batman Begins Batmobile and the Stealth Strike TDK one. I had two BB mobiles one was black and the other was the purple battle damaged one. I bought the purple one with the desire to make take it apart and build a Batpod and rocket launcher damaged wreck. The reason why I wanted to build a Batpod and not buy the one that is out is because it was too rare/pricey and it's wheels aren't the same size as my BB tumbler.

Taking the wheels off the purple one and putting them on a resized stealth batpod from the new Batmobile is my plan. And so far so good. Then I wreaked the rest of the purple Batmobile which I plan to spray paint.

I'll go into more detail later on my methods and how I made the Batmobile wheels work on the Batpod frame.

where did you buy these figures from to transform them into gcpd swat team, please tell me so i may buy 10 of them

wow cool customs

where did you get the swat figures???????

oh my god thats awesome stuff man keep it up!!...any ideas for Two-Face?

Most of the figures I use are bargin bin figures I pick up for a couple of pounds. Most of the ones I've used here are from the Buffy and angel Toyline.

The army figures I repainted into swat were from a shop called PoundStretcher they had discount or discontinued products.

They were just generic army figures, so I couldn't say what they were.

I'm not planning on making any Two-Face customs because the Movie Master figure they are releasing looks great and I'd rather wait for that then make one and waste parts and time.

The reason I made a Batpod was because I wasn't satified with the one released. It did fit with the scale of my Begins tumbler or the movie masters.

IMG_5050.jpg

My Batman Begins tumbler. I used my other one of these to build my damaged tumbler and Batpod. I used the Batpod from the Stealth Batmobile from the Dark Knight toyline. I widened the Axels and length the frame to make space for the Begins tumbler's wheels and the MM figures.

I am amazed at your work!! Ever consider sending a resume of this stuff to Mattel? I can't imagine that a good rooftop playset with working signal wouldn't sell. Especially with how you made it so it can be re-arranged! I love the interrogation joker and I have mine ready to be made. I removed the outer coat and am getting ready to repaint it. Are there any other hands besides Iron Man that you recommend? I'd like mine to have two open hands and not a fist.
