wow that looks great. the neckline scoops a little low for my taste and doesnt flow very well with the symbol, but aside from that it looks really cool. another nice suit.

the low neckline helps show my muscles and doesn't really bother me since superman would need to wear it under a suit. i don't like the high neckline of superman returns.

also, keep in mind the total cost of making this was about $140. i think i did a great job for the money. soon i will start making chris reeve style boots.

Well...to me, being completely honest, the collar is WAY to wide and looks bad, even if u are muscular. It looks like Dean Cain`s terrible costume from the second episode of Lois & Clark. And the cape and the cape attachment sucks. Oh. And classic symbol please...

I didnt mean to sound rude but thats just my opinion.

Hey everyone! I am new here, and really enjoy this forumn and thread. I would like to comment on Travis's costume that even though it may not be " perfect" ( in someone's opinion ! ) he still wears it REALLy well! I think the main point is that he is indeed really convincing in the costume and that is what is most important! Travis- you do indeed make a great Superman!!!!

Yes, Kelly (KMD Theatrics) does some FREAKIN FANTASTIC work. I'm sure he can do whatever you want. I am also able to help if you have something special. Just give me an email at [email protected]. I've made several differnt styles of Superman costumes. The George Reeve (1950s), Christopher Reeve (1970s), Dean Cain (1980s) and I'm working on the new movie version of the costume. I've even made custom orders/styles. And I can help with other kinds of spandex based costumes.

I'm new here and just read this entire thread. I have to say there are some great suits here.

I wanna make my own suit for halloween this year. So i wondered if you all could help me with the basics.

I wanna make a Chris Reeves style suit with maybe my own take on the 'S' and some of the extras.

So...
Wheres the best places to get a blue lycra body suit from?
Whats the best material for the cape and 'S'?
Where do I get briefs from?

Hi gang,

Everyone has their own opinions and such. I have my own. Thank for the feedback. I personally really like my suit because it is unique. I love the cape and the way it attaches as well as the symbol on the chest.
