I happened to see an AvClub review about how good this show is a few hours before the premiere.

And yeah, it's pretty good. It's not gonna make it cause it's too odd, but I will enjoy watching it while it last.

The musical numbers were well incorporated and really good. The lead actress is great at being crazy-sane. She looks like the actress who played the mom from HOWIMETYOURMOTHER.

I've tried giving this show a chance a few times, but other than Greg I just don't like any of the characters.

I know this show hasn't caught on but I wish it did. It's so on point.

Rebecca realizing she is the villain in her story was great cause it still fit into her delusional personality. I saw the Madonna-Valencia image coming but it was nice to see Josh realizing nothing had changed. Cheating is about the state of his relationship no matter how much he thinks the other person is a good person.

Darryl's bi story is hilarious. I hate double negatives, too.

Yeah, I think this show is great too, and the musical numbers are always hilarious. Pretty funny how Rebecca's "money is no object" mentality finally caught up with her!

I loved Darryl's realization moment an episode or two ago.
Darryl: checking out both a guy's and a girl's asses beside him. "I'm..."
Random person "Bye!"
Random person "Bye!"
Darryl: "What?"
Aerobics instructor: "I said goodbye, Darryl."

Thankful for this getting a second season! I hope Rebecca and Josh get together next season so she sees it's not what she thinks it will be. Same for Josh.

The CW was jacked for me this week. Both Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Flash were littered with blips and breaks throughout the shows. When I saw that iZombie was re-running this week's episode next week, I didn't even hesitate and deleted this week's, knowing it was going to be the same mine-filled nightmare.

Anyway, for this show itself, all I have to say is "Heavy boobs! Heavy boobs! They're just sacks of yellow fat!"

All I was thinking was how many takes it took probably hurt like crap.

Weird seeing Rebecca get her fairy tale then blow it up by being honest. The look on Josh's face lol.

Great first season. The last 2 episodes were a bit of a pain because they were postponed due to Baseball games. (1st ep was delayed an extra half hour, the 2nd ep aired 12 minutes earlier than scheduled, so I had to endure the CW's godawful player). So glad it's coming back for another season. I wonder if there will be a soundtrack available for S1, cuz I would seriously consider buying it.

I saw the songs on Itunes. Don't know about other platforms.

I bingewatched this entire show in a couple days on Netflix. I f***ing LOVE it. I have the biggest crush on Rachel Bloom now, lol. Have you guys seen any of her YouTube videos? They're similar to the musical numbers on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, only a little... dirtier, haha. She's awesome.

Can't wait for season 2. They just started filming, apparently.

Will definitely have to check them out. The only thing I've seen her on outside of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was her episode of Lip Sync Battle.

Haha yeah she was funny on Lip Sync Battle. But her videos are even better. :D

FYI>

SEASON 2 begins this Friday. Deathslot I know, so gotta keep up those ratings!!

Can't wait. Was the first season on Friday nights too? Or did CW give it that timeslot this season in a spectacular move of stupidity?

No, it was on Mondays last season. It was supposed to be on Mondays this season as well, but then got bumped to Friday after Supergirl came over from CBS which retained its Monday night slot on the CW.

Smart move, CW. Bump the show that won awards into a deathslot to prop up the series that got canned by another network after one season.

Yeah, it's a weird pairing with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Vampire Diaries on Friday. I wonder why the CW doesn't air any of their programs on Sunday night. I honestly have no idea what they air on the weekends. Guess I'll have to pay attention tonight as I go through the tv menu.

I thought the first episode was ok, but thought the second one had some pretty great songs (loved Ping Pong Girl), and I cracked up when Darryl was spoiling Game of Thrones for Rebecca out of spite.

I'm a week behind but I loved the Ping-Pong episode, too.

It's doing a good job of making Josh unlikeable in a human way where in the first season he was an object of her affection.

Ping Pong Girl might be my favorite song this show has produced, haha. They perfectly captured that whiny emo punk *****e genre of music that you hear on the radio all the time.

Last night's episode was also good. I love how a lot of Rebecca's musical numbers are based (stylistically at least) on 80s music videos. This week it was Material Girl, and next week it's Hey Mickey.
