D.C vs STREET FIGHTER still a possability?

In non-related E3 news, we heard some buzz from Capcom a deal with DC that was close to completion (as of April 2006). In the original agreement, the first planned game was to be none other than DC vs. Street Fighter. At this point though, the licensing hasn't been finalized and we aren't sure whether this it's at a halt or is still in the works. We confirmed this news with both sides, Capcom and DC and discussions between the two was/is in the works. We really, really hope this game comes out, because as much as we love Marvel characters, DC characters are our favorites. Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, yeah, this would be awesome.

We will have to look out for it at TGS.

If DC vs SF actually happens (and I seriously doubt it will), then I could see Marvel interested in renewing their contract with Capcom. That franchise is huge in the US and I cant believe Marvel would simply walk out on the chance to create yet another blockbuster.

MARVEL want too much for using their characters in licenced games now so it would probably never happen. A D.C vs MARVEL Capcom game would be amazing .

That said, honestly, the concept of Batman and Ryu doing a combo supermove is just jaw droppingly awesome. I'm not sure the world is ready. Of course, it's going to make me mad to see Batman and Superman going blow for blow, but, all in all, this is pretty cool...

What if Superman's a "secret character." Ha! That'd be hot. Here's to Darkseid and Akuma teaming up.

The Hulk would be too much for the capcom fighters, but he was in Marvel vs capcom.
Actually, I think spiderman is too much for most capcom characters in all honesty.

One step at a time kids. There's a lot to be said about the unlikely DC vs Street Fighter first.

I have a feeling Superman is going to play like a stronger slower Catpain America... or a Rogue, perhaps. He's supposed to be powerful, but.. well... yeah.

I can't wait to see what they come up with for Flash. He should be the fastest character on a video game ever. Combos at the drop of a hat. Of course, you'd have to balance him with low damage and hard to find extensive combos.

Green Lantern? I don't even want to think about it.

Martian Manhunter? I REALLY don't want to think about it.

Perhaps it'd be best to leave a couple members of the Justice League out and go with some Titans, Outsiders and such.

Not sure on the street fighters, though since the other series started with "X-Men vs Street Fighter" perhaps this should start out with Justice League vs Street Fighter"

I'd go Supes, Bats, WW, Green Arrow (Oliver), Nightwing (he'd play similar to Spider-man), Flash (Wally), Metamorpho, GL (anyone but Hal..... hell, they could all be alternate looks), Zatanna, Jason Blood, Aquaman, Black Canary, Batgirl (Cassie), Firestorm and Dr.Fate.
