World Daily Diaries

Dear Diary :D
I went to watch GRINDHOUSE yesterday and DAMN that/those movie(s) were great! There is really nothing else to say but that. The fake movie trailers were just brilliant...the only thing I ask myself is...did I miss anything during/after the end credits?...anyone know?

Somebody having a bad day? :p
Very, My laptop decided to kill everything I have in the C drive.

Apparently my computer technician says that one of the programs I have somehow clash and deleted one of the vital Windows files in the system32 folder. Thank God I back up all my important files. But there are quite a few casualties.:csad:

Right now I have a very conflicting feeling of extreme anger and intense mourning. :cmad: :csad: :cmad: I kinda like it.:csad: :cmad:

Dear Diary,

It's been ages...

hmm...

uhh, I'm tired.

Talk later diary dude.

Dear Diary,

I recently fell in love with a cute little Disney show called In a Heartbeat, featuring pre-Iceman Shawn Ashmore.

I got back into it, only to learn that Disney is a ***** and has not released the one and only season on DVD.

FRAK YOU DISNEY.

Love,
Coldqueen

Poor fruity. You're just not having any luck with electronic devices. I wish you lived near me because then my husband could help you overcome this string of bad luck. He said he has seen that sort of problem happen before -- he had a friend who never shut down his computer properly. Instead of going through Windows to shut off, he simply clicked the power button off. Not a good thing. Did you have a situation recently where the computer locked up and you were forced to shut it off without going through the Windows steps? That could be why that happened. There are other reasons why that can happen, but an improper shut down is the most common.

Hey, DH. Don't be a stranger. I hope you come back. :(

No sad faces Squeekers. :cwink::woot: I've never really left, just been more of a lurker these days. I do respond every now and then to the different parts of the forum.

That reminds me, I need to add another journal entry.

Dear Diary dude,

'Sup? Not much here, I'm just kind of happy that even though I'm 24 years old I still get carded...woohoo! I look young, hopefully it stays like that. lol. Let's see, other than that I saw Vacancy (twice), such an awesome movie. Gotta love the atmosphere of that one. Hmm, I also saw Perfect Stranger and Disturbia, with the latter being the good one and the former being one of the most horrible pieces of trash I've seen this year. Let's see, what else? Oh, I'm gearing up for school again...yay for college, oh and work as well.

Hmm, well, that's all...stay cool, peace out, and uhh...talk later.

Later diary dude!

Dear Diary,

I have no job. I quit two weeks ago. Money is scarce.

Yet I still buy comics.

Sunday -- TEH GWEN!!!! the concert was teh **** win. not just the win, not just **** win, teh **** win. i say this as both a screaming fanboy and from a highly critical point-of-view. Gwen stayed on key/pitch the whole time -- she was honestly CD quality. and the costumes, setlist, and video projections were just amazing!! oh, yeah, the opening acts. Lady Sov is adorable. i want to keep her, yes? Akon sucked. the end.

back to Teh Gwens. shall we go song by song? I THINK WE SHALL!!
Intro ("Watching the Detectives" by Elvis Costello)/The Sweet Escape -- she came out in a gold cage dressed in a prison uniform. some of her backup dancers wore police uniforms, some of them wore prison uniforms. plus everything was in black and white stripes. it made me happy.

Rich Girl -- the cage turned around to be...a giant safe! Gwen put on a cape, and plotted to rob said safe with her backup dancers. it was hilarious, cute, and so fun. long story short -- i want to wear a cape, be flacked by backup dancers, and rob a giantic gold safe.

Yummy -- she came out wearing a pastry chef's hat and an apron. the background flashed candy, cookies, and various other yummy foods. it made me hungry. stupid subliminal messaging.

4 in the Morning -- **** me, i love this song. costume change time!! odd looking pink/yellow kimono thing. background was of Los Angeles at night.

Luxurious -- the Harajuku Girls come out as geishas. awesome. her backup dancers come out dressed as 40s film noir gangsta. **** WIN! the background is of Japanese woodblock art. Slim Thug made a surprise appearance.

Early Winter -- one of my absolute favorite songs that Gwen has ever put her name upon. yes, that is including No Doubt. she dedicated it to the people on the lawn. she dedicated it to just me in my head. shut up, don't judge me. :( the background featured Love dressed as a geisha dancing in falling snow. sooo damn pretty. the last part of the song featured Gwen dressed as a geisha...wearing the wig from TSE album cover and aviator shades. wtf? kinda odd, but also kinda cool?

Wind It Up -- another costume change! this time her and all of the dancers are wearing school boy/girl uniforms. she came out on a platform with the backup dancers and fake illuminated lambs....wtf? i want to do that now. such a grand way to make an entrance. only instead of four Japanese girls, i'd get me four Cholas. that way, in case i got into a fight, i could send them out to fight people. shut up, it'd be amazing.

Danger Zone -- YAY! i LOVE this song. it sounds like a No Doubt leftover, and that makes me smile on the inside. i also love whenever she unleashes the squeal. that too makes me happy. in my pants? only a tiny bit, i swear.

Hollaback Girl -- WTF? i thought this would've been the encore...? mid-show instead. oh well, it was made of win and awesome. mostly because hearing 8-10 yr old girls screaming out "THIS **** IS BANANAS! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" makes me laugh my ass off.

Wonderful Life -- much like Early Winter, this is one of my absolute favorite songs that Gwen has attached her name too including No Doubt songs. the background footage was of her recreating the album's booklet photos. not sure how it correlated with the song, but she sounded amazing. and did i mention there was another costume change? if the shirt had covered the mid-riff...i'd rock it. it was a black and white striped shirt with black pants and tennis shoes. YAY!

Now That You Got It -- you know, lyrically i adore this song. it's the music that drives me up the wall. but in the end, when she turned it into a reggae song...i want her to rerecord this song with the reggae beat and release it. it was just that awesome. and i want a Jamaican flag adorning tracksuit just like her backup dancers. :(

Don't Get It Twisted -- so background videos of hot pink and purple rollercoasters make me want to act out however they're twisting, turning, and falling. is this odd? yes? well...****.

Cool -- another ND leftover sounding track that makes me so damn happy. background was footage from the music video. she ran INTO the crowd. **** YOU PEOPLE IN YOUR AISLE SEATS!! the entire crowd sang along. good ****ing times.

Orange County Girl -- i can't stand this song personally. the background was cute though. it was a slideshow of pictures that were literally the songs lyrics. personal fave pics? during the "few of my favorite things" line the following things flashed across the screen -- pizza, LAMB, her dead dog Meggan (aka LAMB herself...that's right...LAMB is her dead dog's nickname), and Kingston -- cutest celeb kid evah!! other fave? "I don't give a ****" line showed a paparazzi pic of Gwen and Gavin, with Gavin giving them the finger. ♥

The Real Thing -- ENCORE TIME!! performed acoustic-ish, and dedicated to Kingston. awww...and possibly my favorite part of the entire night? i dunno...getting Early Winter dedicated to me was pretty amazing. i can't describe the outfit she was wearing...it was like a black poncho with white gloves, stocking, and those damn shoes of death she insists on wearing.

What You Waiting For? -- final song of the evening, and the background will give you seizures. YAY!! LAMB album art is present, and lots of playing cards, rabbits, and clocks. she's wearing a blue and black leopard print jumper. so that's what was underneath the poncho! the end.
i bought the cutest wind breaker!! it's black, and on the front is says "Gwen is my homegirl," and across the black it has a big picture of cartoon Gwen dressed as a Chola. her tank says ANAHEIM. yay. my BFF got a cute lil' shirt too. pale blue, with cartoon Gwen dressed as a geisha in front of a cherry blossom. awesomeness. i like how we bought the clothing that matched our personalities. :]

Sweet. I wish I could go see her.. but Kelly is more important to me and her tickets are on sale this Saturday, woot.

Early Winter is the bestest.

Dear Diary,

Teh **** win. I love that. Give Jason a huge cookie for phrasing that.

Teh **** end.

but she's so damn funny! she won my love with all of her wit and smart aleck comments. plus she's British.
