do I think Rey will turn dark? No, I don't.

but I would like Rey to "flirt" with the Dark Side and be more of a gray Jedi. That's why I've said I wouldn't mind her using Force Lightning of Force Choke in certain circumstances. why must those be exclusively Sith powers?

I wondered about that too when I watched ROTJ again last week, but I wasn't sure if that was really Force Choke.

if so, then there's no reason for Rey not to be able to use that as well.

force lightning is not like other abilities it take a master of the darkside (Douku,palpatine,The Son etc) to fully master it.

I knew I was going to instantly fall in love with her...it hurts. It really does hurt...she's so beautiful I can't describe.

Daisy Ridley is the best thing about TFA, and her mesmerizing beauty plus stellar performance are going to make her a huge star for sure. It's amazing how she was an unknown before TFA, but I'm glad they discovered her among thousands of hopefuls so we can enjoy her presence on the big screen.

She nailed it off the bat! I was Immediately sold that this girl was a survivor and very independent. I look forward to seeing her undergo her training with Luke. I think it will be slightly different than Luke's training with Yoda. Although based on The Force Awakens it appears she has skills and perhaps she had a "Bourne" memory loss of who she is but not her abilities.

I'd like to know who her mother is though.

Was a pretty stellar performance all round, incredible that that's her first film.

I can't imagine she'll just be remembered for her role in Star Wars like a fair chunk of the OT cast, too talented to not branch out.

How they managed to unearth so many gems for this film is astonishing

Little Rey's accent didn't sound like British English/London. It's an American actress playing young Rey. Her agency is CTG (Clear Talent Group) South / Louisiana. There's other info I found about her being American.
