I had a big problem of all the stuff she could do in essentially one day.

I however had no problem with her beating the main bad guy in the end because the bad guy was essentially bleeding out and he had also just fought Finn (hence how Finn was able to hold his own for a while).
Some people seem to completely blanking on the bad guy taking a full on laser blast to side.

Not to mention the film does a good job of establishing how powerful Chewie's crossbow is. It was a regular blaster shot.

The more that i think about it, the more i agree Rey is either a Skywalker or a Solo.

JJ has said numerous times that they don't reveal Rey's last name for a reason. That means she's the daughter of a character we all already know.

I actually like the idea that she is a descendant of Snoke or Palpatine. It would make sense why Snoke senses an awakening.

Force Lightning is some high level dark side power, your knowledge of the dark side needs to be very far along for that.

So it's been confirmed that the voice calling to Rey in her hallucination is Ewan McGregor, Obi Wan himself. Apparently James Arnold Taylor, who voices Obi Wan pretty much everywhere else, did it, but was replaced by Ewan. Which lends a bit of credence to the theory that Rey is related to Obi Wan somehow. It could just be a cameo, but then, it's a split second line. It's almost too small to really make sense as just a cameo. Also, the fact that Obi Wan is the only main character with a British accent, something Rey also has.

Could mean nothing, but personally I think it'd be a more interesting twist than her being a Skywalker. If she's for sure going to be related to another character at all.

If Rey isn't a Skywalker, then I hope she's related to Obi-Wan. It would feel like a rehash to have her be revealed as being a descendant of a past/present day villain.

The way I see it...why not she be of both Skywalker and Kenobi while Ben is of Skywalker and Solo? Fused together...Rey as a Skywalker/Kenobi vs Ben as a Skywalker/Solo.

Hmm...kinda interesting.

I think she is either Kylo's sister or half sister. Maybe leia had to marry some royalty and she is their kid. She did seem like Han though so maybe she is his kid from after Kylo turned. He seemed to know her and even acted like he was her father. He purposely hired her to keep her close.

what if during the forest duel, not only is the force guiding Rey but what if its the spirits of Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi?? I dunno...

What if, just like Anakin, Rey was conceived by the will of the force so really has no father other than the force itself.....?

Ridley said she's read the script for EP 8 already. I swear, this cast is stella at keeping secrets especially since now that the movie is out, everyone has even more questions about the future of the characters.

Just think there's a hell of a lot of Episode VIII concept art that has been made and sets designed and everything like that as I type this since it starts principal photography next month and did some minor photography back in September.
