Did they move up the start date on this? Season 2 starts on the 4th, but last season's DVD doesn't come out until the 6th. Odd that the DVD should come after the start like that.

Unless it's been available on HBO NOW...? That would make sense if their strategy is to get people to sign up and download if they didn't want to wait for a DVD/Bluray release...

It should be up on HBO Go, yes, but I had planned on buying the DVD anyhow. I don't want to stream the season and then buy it so now I'm in a quandary about whether to watch the season 2 opener right away or wait a few days until I get a chance to watch my DVD first.

I sincerely hope that an interviewer or someone tells Damon how incredibly awful that new opening credits sequence is. Not just awful, but embarrassing. Damon must have been trying to be ironic. An "it's so awful it's brilliant" type of thing. Problem is... it's not brilliant.
