Great finale. I would've been fine with that as the series finale. I'm really curious now with how they'll approach the 2nd season... Is there more content left in the book(s)?

Whew that was an intense finale! While the ending would've made for an ok series finale had it got cancelled, I am glad that this isnt where we are leaving off.

Everyone finding their replicas of the ones who left was creepy and I cant blame people for starting to riot.

I also thought Garveys wish was to have his family back, it is the most obvious answer.

What an intense and captivating episode. They all have been. This is maybe one of the greatest seasons of television I've ever seen - HBO is really slam-dunkin' it this year. True Detective, Game of Thrones, The Leftovers. Damn.

I'm so excited for next season and to see what happens next to Kevin and his family, the Guilty Remnant, and Nora. Hopefully Lindelof and co can maintain the high standard that this season set.

Even if the show doesn't get renewed that works as an ending. The GR fulfilled their purpose of reminding everyone what they lost and helped them accept their situation rather than running from it.

I wonder if that's why the dogs were acting so crazy? Dogs can sense and react to human emotions and a bunch of people being ripped apart by extreme guilt and aggressive depression could be enough to drive any dog up the wall.

didn't it get renewed? I've never read the book but i read the plot on wikipedia, and that's pretty much how the book ends. it's almost as if they made it so just in case it didn't get renewed, which is great. i wonder what they'll do next season.

This show is in such a unique place that I don't know what to think of it. It has its own little world, but the emotional response of the characters is so strong that I'm willing to forgive some of the problems it has. It's very powerful, and moving.

Wasn't that impressed with the finale. It wasnt bad just not as great as Ive read/heard people making it out to be.

I still feel the same about the show as I did early on. It's not good enough I would recommend it to anyone but not bad enough to keep watching.

Liv Tyler is the only one I could care less about. Ann Dowd will probably only be back in guest flashbacks. The rest of that supporting cast all needs to return. Jill's friend Aimee, the 2 twins, Dean, the mayor all need to come back. Oh and Annie Q's character I can live without.

Season 1 Production did go on hiatus after the sixth episode to get things in better shape. I bet that's why.
