Yeah, it was weak. The only good part of the subplot was when Jerry came into Morty's room and Morty ripped him for not knocking.

Yea Lawnmower Dog sealed the deal for me. There were definitely some weaker episodes of the season but they were all still brilliant. But yea, the show is very poorly animated. I think it's on purpose though. Their eyes **** me all up when they do close ups

Lawnmower Dog was the first episode I've actually seen. I loved every minute of it.

That line is awesome and I love this show so much. I watch every repeat when it comes on and still makes me laugh just as much as the first time I saw them. I really love how they do a stinger at the end of the credits and it's always a good final joke from the episode. Glad it got picked up for a 2nd season

I love that Rick built him for that specific purpose, but also the capacity to question and be upset about his purpose.

Sometimes I forget how long it takes to do a season of an animated show.

I think I remember when Thundercats ended and one of the animators/producers/writers were like if Season 2 was a go, you wouldn't see it for a couple of years.

Unless it's South Park who do it within a weeks time.

A key thing about Adult Swim is that they don't put rush their creators to put out shows. It's more of a "as much time as you need" kind of deal with most their shows.

It sucks to wait so long, but at least we have a time frame and I'm still looking forward to it.
