A. The actual dance movies are stupid as hell, and need someone to make fun of them.
B. It's not being done by assface and d***chin... I forgot their real names.
C. It actually seems to be spoofing the films it is supposed to be spoofing.
D. Carmen Elektra and Kim Kardashian are nowhere in sight.

Yeah. And, you know, there seems to be some actual thought (minimal as it may be) put into it. It's not just "Hey lets reference 300 here, and Superman Returns here, and lets throw Paris Hilton in here and lets put the Joker over here..." when thats clearly not where they belong. It feels like they are actually trying to make a respectable comedy. But, I think the fact that its caled Dance Flick might immediately turn people off. They should have put more thought into the title.

I'm not on the hate wagon for this one either. I enjoyed the Step Ups on a guilty pleasure basis, but they are films that deserved to be spoof.

Basically Loud_Silent_Man hit this one on the head pretty much.

It is odd it looks to be spoofing Save the Last Dance most of all. That movie came out ages ago. Does anyone even remember it?


Extra: I just saw the poster on the sun link. They are really going after Hairspray? Oh well. I see no reason to spoof that film as it was actually very good. One of the best musical adaptions ever so. In fact I know there's dancing in musicals like Hairspray and HSM, but why are they attacking them in this, seems odd, maybe they are going after films they shouldn't be going after. Okay, I'm willing to give them HSM seeing as they have pretty spoof worthy qualitys about them. But Hairspray? Seriously?!

I really thought this crap was going to end. The last few spoof movies have been bombs and I was beginning to think that they MIGHT have finally come to their senses, but no there's still this steady stream of crap. Oh well, at least now it's crap that costs them money.

Yeah it looks bad, but if you think this looks anywhere as bad as every other spoof movie then you haven't fully comprehended just how bad movies like "Epic Movie" truly are. This does look better.

I got a couple laughs out of it ("Insemble," and the scene with the ass dancing turning out to be the guy). Both jokes had a very Zucker-ish feel to them. But I'll pass unless I hear good reviews. After all, these are the people who brought us White Chicks and Little Man.

the girl dancing around kicking random people has been done to death
and trying to make us think it was a girl dancing when it was really a guy was predictable as the passion of the christ

Yea, I like the wayans aswell. It has the same feel the first 2 scary movies had.
