Norton distances The Incredible Hulk (2008) from The Hulk (2003)

Uh... I think you meant Obi there, Cracker. Don't shortchange the dude. Give credit where credit is due. lol

I'm a spelling and grammar nerd, what can I say? Went to the national bee in 1992, and did pretty well in pee-wee wrestling, so it's in my nature to set y'all straight. But that's fine. You let loose with all of your colloquialisms. Let 'em rip. Maybe you'll get a few Freudian slips along the way. I won't correct anyone everrrrrrr again... :whatever:

What's wrong with my style? Got your attention didn't I? :oldrazz: :woot:

Yeah, I suppose it got my attention. Along with being bored in the wake of no TIH news whatsoever, I felt dragged in. But your style? Oh, I could run with that one, as you might say. It just tends to derail threads and I invariably wind up being a partner-in-crime. Guilty by association. Ah well.

Where's Silver Knight when you need him? We need reminded a few hundred times that we still need a trailer. Give us something to read, SK. lol

There. I've followed in your footsteps and attempted to drag someone else into the thread. Let's see if he bites.

I hope not. That's not the Hulk. The Hulk isn't at Banners Beckon-call. If the Hulk saves someone it's because the Hulk likes the person more times than not.

True, but whether we like it or not, at the end it seems Banner changes into Hulk to save New York.

Thanks BH.

So I looked it up, "beck and call" is the actual phrase, but it turns out "beck" is short for "beckon" (and has a devil's haircut) so technically neither of us is wrong.

Thanks BH.

That's why I said "Beckon-call works as well, Bannerless :oldrazz: "

Remember, we are not wrong, just miss informed :woot:

No problemo. I'm inspired to sing "I Am Your Brother" by Renaldo Lapuz. Did any of you catch that on American Idol? Wow.

Shouldn't that be "We need to be reminded?" :oldrazz: :oldrazz: :oldrazz:

Not necessarily. Have you never heard someone say, "I'm reminded of..." (my childhood, my mother's cooking, the trips my dad and I used to take, etc.)? It's of no consequence. I'm in journalism more or less, and we axe a lot of words for brevity's sake. Wordiness is a no-no. Comprende?

"I am your brother, your best friend forever!"

But that's not what you said is it? Just goes to show that even Spelling Bee contestants (thumbs up for that  ) and get it wrong. From time to time. Talk about my your colloquialisms :yay:

WHAT!!!???

Uh... no. Afraid it wasn't grammatically incorrect to say, "We need reminded... ." I was just pointing out that it can be used in the same way that "I'm reminded" is used. See, I can accept being wrong from time to time, but I don't think that that was one of them. My slips are usually intentional or sometimes I just don't care.

WHAT!!!???

Watch the video.

It takes place five years after the accident. Not five years after Ang's movie.

This would be surprising if this informant's info is true.

Ed himself stated this was unrelated.

I just hope the film makes it clear that this is a brand new start.

that's a lot of time.
I always thought TIH should be a sequel.
even if Ang's Hulk wasn't the expected, it should follow it's events, with the TIH storyline.
but that's me...
