Daniel Craig - right choice for 007?

I seen Layer Cake once in a cinema and I liked his performance but his no Bond material what so ever he looks more like a Bond villain than 007 but hey he's good actor I'm sure he'll do well.

Have you actually looked at some of the on set pics? He looks like a Bond that has just got his 00 license to me. People need to understand the nature, premise and what the story is about before they stt bumping their gums.
Bond in this movie isn't supposed to be as smooth and as slick as we all know him to be at first. All of that will be seen as his charter develops during the course of the movie, you know, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!

I think the script, plot and material (as well as premise) are all VERY good for this movie and so will Eva Green be.

So he'll do okay, but I still think he was miscast for the part though and that will show in the sequels.

Oh well.
