I think Craig will be a great Bond and I am very much looking forward to Casino Royale. The whole "controversy" around Craig is just media created BS, the vast majority have no problem with Daniel Craig as Bond.

The controversial decision to cast craig as bond, seeing as he doesn't have, "the look".

I don't understand what people mean by "the look". In Fleming's Casino Royale novel, Bond is stated as having a scar down his cheek (I think as I'm reading the book) and he's basically a rougher character. The only other closest actor to really portray Fleming's Bond apart from Craig is Dalton so where do these Brosnan loving dimwits come from. It's about time we have a Bond since Dalton who actually looks like he can beat up someone....and I'm made up Craig is Bond as he's from Liverpool himself. Scousers rule....

Is Craig really from Liverpool ? Didn't know that, he doesn't have a scouse accent, does he ?

yeh he was born in chester and grew up in liverpool. he supports liverpool fc so he's a traitor as im an everton fan. he does have a northern accent, but he moved to london in his late teens. his mum and dad own a pub in merseyside and i think his mum is also a teacher in a liverpool school.

The more I see on the film via podcasts and the trailer the more I think he will be great. I like the more gritty feel Casino Royale seems to have.
