Unlike many, I'm a huge fan of Elliot Goldenthall's "Batman March" from BF and B&R. It was over the top, it was blaring, it was very creative, and I loved it.

I have to say that the BB score is really really really outstanding. In fact it makes me think of a great Batman movie. better in fact that what I felt BB actuallt was. Zimmer and Newton Howard did an exceptional job here.

Yes, I voted Elfman but these guys are immeediately after him. If Elfman is a 5/5, BB score is a 4,5.

danny elfman is way better his music made the scenes so much more powerful

Zimmer's theme has a wild, animalistic feel to it, which goes right along with Batman's form of fighting in BB. I guess in that sense it's outstanding.

I liked it's "Just doing my job" type sound.

Well, yeah. But other quieter themes are fantastic too. Most of them are. Maybe all of them. I just listen to that soundtrack and even if I don't remember the movie, the music is just great as music.

BF actually has a really good soundtrack. The switching from Elfman's theme to Goldenthall's was jarring at first, but it fits the lighter, more adventurous tones better. His action scenes are what I like best--it sounds like an over-the-top 1940s musical number.

I was just listening to Danny Elfmans score for Dick Tracy (1990). Man he is such a great composer, his scores always hit the right spot for me, especially the Batman score.

I can't really choose.
At times, I love the Elfman score, and during other times, I just love the Zimmer/Newton Howard score.

I like it.
I actually really liked alot of the Batman & Robin score. Even the re-used Demolition Man piece. :o

Just ask yourself which score will be more remembered by the public in 30 years time and even die hard begins fans should have to admit Elfmans score will be the winner.

Well...I am a musician and really theres no comparision. To me one of the biggest flaws of Batman Begins, IMO, was the music. Its just non-existant, bland and weak. Elfman`Batman score is one of the finest pieces of music i`ve ever heard. Its one of the things that makes the Tim Burton movies great. The guy is a genious.

Elfman all the way baby!

One of my problems with BB (among many) was the score or should I say lack of.
Like many of you have mentioned before, in 30 years which theme will still be rememberd? Elfmans.

And I can't believe that guy who was saying that "batman hasen't earned his theme yet" crap....

I agree Catman. The themes are very different, people just want to down Elfman.

The only person who's made more memorable film scores than Elfman is John Williams. Williams>>>>>Elfman>>>>>>>>everybody else

I really don't see how anyone can find the Spiderman/Batman themes similar.
