Is it realy going to happen? If it is, it better be quick! 'cause if Ben and Jen break up, they wont work together. Unless thats whats keeping them from signing up. They said they both looked forward to working with each on Daredevil 2, but the plot for Daredevil 2 doesnt include Elektra. Also, there is NO word on it. It happend with X-Men 3 and it came out in a year. Could this miracle be pulled off with Daredevil??? Discuss..

Yeah, and from what I hear, the result of X3 "coming out in a year" is a mediocre film that doesn't live up to its potential. And if they do another DD movie (which I definitely hope they do!) I hope they do it without JMS or Affleck.

As long as Rothman is calling the shots, I'd just as soon they left DD alone til the rights revert back to Marvel.

I hope it happens eventually. Jennifer Garner said months ago that Affleck had told her that it was still in development stages so I think there's still hope it can happen. I think the biggest obstacle to it would be to find the right story and if Fox will let them do Daredevil like it's supposed to be without having to market it to kids...

Fox will never do anything with the DD property. Marvel would have to get the rights back. I know they've been trying to get them back earlier. Let's hope they succed.

Um.. daredevil was rated PG-13 in US, 14A in Canada, 13 ANS(years)+ in France and 13 in England. Where do you see kids? And what about the sex scene? That wasnt advertised for kids either It was NEVER made for kids. They made 2 advertisements for kids but not the movie

I really don't think Mark Steven Johnson is that bad of a director, especially since everyone seems to love the Directors Cut of the movie. It's just when the studio steps in and makes lame demands (PG-13 rating, more Elektra, less Daredevil) that the movie ends up sucking.

Daredevil is one of Marvel's top 10 characters for sure. They will eventually get the rights back, and I'm sure five years from now, DD will look like a better prospect than some of the other films mentioned in the Paramount deal.

I think the famous characters like Iron Man, Daredevil, Captain America, and Hulk are a much safer bet for Marvel than unknowns like Shang Chi or Power Kids.

I hope they hurry up and make a sequel because I think the Directors cut is one of the very best superhero movies ever made. Bring on all new villians and get started!!

I just don´t know if you were joking or not, or that you even have the same reasons as i do, but, i can´t see a reason why DD II should be made.

No matter how many people liked it, and it doesn´t matter how many people loved the director´s cut, but a movie that tells 20 years of a character in under 120 minutes is just plain ridiculous.
I don´t hate the movie, but it´s, IMO, nothing more than ok.
You guys really want a sequel to a movie where Kingpin, Bullseye and Elektra were just cardboard caricatures of the real characters?
And i don´t mean the acting...but, in Elektra´s case, she is no more than 40 minutes in the movie...and then she dies, you never really get into the character, you just know that she was a chick that was in love with DD and wanted to avenge her father´s dead, and that she died at the end.

My call, wait a few years and restart the damn thing, make a trilogy and kill Elektra in the LAST ONE

No it wouldn't have. It would've been lost in the shuffle and dominated pretty badly.

X-men 2 did very well because it basically started off the summer hot.

The Hulk was a huge disappointment.

Daredevil was able to make $102 million in the US even being released in Feb. that's not too terrible.

And hell, it could've made even more if the superior Director's Cut was the version released in theaters.
