Bandai-Namco Dark Souls III

I figured but I'm used to low health runs. :p

Finished Demons Souls. Not bad but not as much fun as DS1.

A good ways into DS2 now. Summoning more than I used to since the game's on sale for $3. Is it just me or is it really slow to play? I mean when I'm rolling, fighting, using items and everything else it just takes so long to perform.

The Maiden in Black. :o

The Storm King was pretty awesome. I loved his design and the fight was interesting with all the smaller ones around.

So I just finished DS2. No DLC so I got the Take the Throne ending but I plan to get the DLC package disk since I saw it for $20 the other day. I get paid on Friday so hopefully it's still there.

So I accidentally fought three bosses in a row since I did the Giants memories thing then went to the Throne of Want. Fun times. :( Final boss was much easier than I expected which was weird since I expected something like the Dragon fight which I tried then ran off like a coward.

Still like DS1 the best out of the three so far but I can't say I had a terrible time with any of the three games. Difficulty was good and frustrating sometimes but not really unfair. Finished the game with 57 Human Effigys since I'm a stingy bastard.

Just need a PS4 to get Bloodborne and DS3 then I'll be done. :D

Edit: got the Greatest hits version with the DLC. :D

Dark Souls III’s first downloadable expansion, Ashes of Ariandel, will be available on October 25, Bandai Namco announced today.

Coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Ashes of Ariandel will task players with exploring the secrets of why the new “frozen land” of Ariandel has fallen into its ruined state. The expansion will cost $14.99.

The DLC will, in addition to highlighting the new area that helps to expand on the Dark Souls III lore and story, feature new enemies, challenges, weapons, armor, and magic. The expansion will also introduce new features to the game's competitive multiplayer mode.

Players can purchase Ashes of Ariandel on its own or as part of the Dark Souls III season pass, which also includes the second planned DLC expansion. The season pass will cost players $24.99.

So I didn't watch this because it has a spoiler warning (which is really, really strange for an official video), but I guess this is a new trailer?

I still haven't played the last one. It seemed so small. Hope this is meatier.

Ashes DLC was really small since Bloodborne was my first fromsoftware game and I was expecting an Old hunters size DLC

The Ultimate Dark Souls Reference Book

With the epic trilogy now complete, Future Press presents the ultimate Dark Souls compendium book. The enemies, items, equipment, areas and NPC dialogue of each game are all presented in an easy-to-reference format. This beautifully laid out book is designed to make it easy to find what you're looking for--each entry is color-coded by game, and everything is fully indexed.

For newer players, or those interested in the story but in need of a springboard, the compendium will get them up to speed on everything that the games explicitly reveal. It also provides the means to connect the dots and start forming your own theories, while acting as a complete reference book of the creatures, characters and locations that make up these magnificent games. And it's all printed on premium art paper, bound in hardcover with a bookmark ribbon and placed in a perfectly matching, deluxe foil-print slipcase, and--as a bonus--includes four art prints ready to take pride of place on your wall.

Lore Summaries

The core stories and key elements of each game are summarised in a way that removes ambiguity while also avoiding speculation--everything in this chapter is backed up with page references to sources taken directly from the games. Written and edited by renowned members of the Dark Souls community, this is a lore primer like no other.

Detailed Maps

For the first time, we present beautifully illustrated maps for every single area of all three games, including their DLC expansions. These maps feature unparalleled detail and reveal every lore-relevant item, NPC, boss and more.

NPC Dialogues

Every single line of dialogue spoken by the characters that inhabit these strange worlds is chronicled here, alongside the conditions for hearing them.

Reference Ready

The book is designed to make referencing and comparing entries easy, and includes every single item description across all three games. To reinforce this purpose, we've included a highly detailed index and a bookmark ribbon, so you'll never get lost.

Prima's Dark Souls 3 guide was disappointing to say the least. I've been hoping Future Press would release their own guide for the game.
