Comics Dark X-men

See Nate Grey be Hopes True Father WWWUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!

X-Man is BACK!!! first Adam-X now Nate..oh happy days are here again!!...plus Threnody can hit him up for child support now...

I want to see X-Man and Marvel Girl interact. I have a feeling Nate would get along with Rachel better than Nathan/Cable does.

Then again, knowing Nate's history, he might try to sleep with Rachel.

Nate and Rachel are Hopes Parents WWWWUUUUUTTTT!!!!!!!

have Cable and Rachel interacted? i know like she raised him in that Askani future or something like that, but recently do they talk? theyre practically siblings.

I don't even think Rachel remembers being Mother Askani.

The only times I can think of them interacting were when Cable saved Rachel from the edge of time or wherever the hell she went when Cable's timeline disappeared, and when Rachel kept Providence in the air during Cable & Deadpool. Nobody ever seems to bother putting those two together. It gives the impression that they just don't want to talk to one another.

i guess the since the Summers-Grey family tree is so convoluted, the less time the spend trying acknowledge it the better. still.....thats his sister. what a waste.

Now that's a pity, that's about the one time she was all mature and had a good interaction not only with Scott but Cable as well, young Cable for that matter- one of my favorite stories of all time.

at the X-Men panel the topic of homosexuality and sexual orientation came up, and Marjorie (something) mentioned that Daken has no sexual preference and did the nasty with a guy to get what he wants. is that true??

Rachel and cable had some really good spot light together time a few years ago, when cable saved rachel from the end of time or something

Rachel returned to 616 in the pages of Cable during the Dark Sisterhood arc back around 2000. She was set to be a supporting character in his book, but that never happened. Prior to that, they had a fight circa Excalibur 75 which took place during Fatal Attractions

MAybe Hope is the child of Nate and Maddie.. now that would be creepy.

Especially considering that it would be one hell of a loooong pregnancy...

people seem to be fixated on Nate and maddie's uh...friendship...but we KNOW he was banging Threnody for certain..they have a child..that was NOT depowered during M day...neither was Threnody...so, if anything...Nate and Threnody's kid should be a mutant too..a VERY POWERFUL one at that...and everybody is sniffing around after Hope...

...oh yeah.there is also Franklin Richards and Destiny's grandson Trevor..who both have reality altering powers...they could reverse the no more mutant thing too...

Yes, I was so very happy to hear that Nate is coming back. :D

DARK X-MEN #1 (of 5)
Written by PAUL CORNELL
Penciled by LEONARD KIRK
Cover by SIMONE BIANCHI
From the dust of UTOPIA comes DARK X-MEN! Never one to say “die”, Norman Osborn is keeping what’s left of HIS X-Men alive. MYSTIQUE! DARK BEAST! WEAPON OMEGA! MIMIC! They are the public face of mutants in an Osborn world. And what a face they are! But what does Nate Grey, A.K.A. X-MAN, have to do with it? The critically acclaimed team of PAUL CORNELL (BLACK WIDOW, TV’s Dr. Who) and Leonard Kirk (CAPTAIN BRITAIN AND MI13) take on the world of X!
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

Mystique! Yuck!
What is Osborn thinking, assembling a bunch of scumbags and they are going to become another team of Thunder-bolts?

Those wannabees would only stab him in the back sooner or later.

PS. Outcry, been wanting to ask you, have you completely recovered from your injury?

That's kinda the point of Osborn's reign. He thinks he's got it all under control, but everyone he's got on his side is secretly playing against him. Two members of his Thunderbolts, all of the Cabal practically, his Dark X-Men.

He's set up his own downfall and doesn't know it.

two things they really need to calm down with in comics: time travel and reality-warping powers. theyre two quick-fixes that always snowball into a clusterf#$! of continuity issues (see Cable, Rachel Summers, and the entire DC Universe for examples).

thanks Marvel for spoiling any speculation around Wolverine impaling Weapon Omega straight through the chest, before Utopia even wraps up...

and its probably intentional, but i can't help but notice that Mystique is in the same pose as Cyclops was on his first cover for Astonishing. do we have another Land on the horizon! :wow:

Maybe it's used for a comparison. So they took up the same position, but are just fake versions of the real team.

Character balance is important, the almighty powerful types usually just make things worse in the long run.

Alot of artists can use similar body types and poses because that's just how they draw, and I think that's the case with Bianchi, unlike Land, who just flat out copies them.
