its not like we havent seen that before (Hellion and Lady Mastermind in Messiah Complex). He wasnt confirmed as dead on panelso theres no guarantee that he is

You know I actually like the idea of Mystique masquearding asJean. Makes it all the better for Jean to come back and kick her in the you know what for doing so. I wonder if she will try and play any head games with Wolverine or Cyclops, or better yet Emma. This should at least be fun if they do more with it in the mini. Im glad Marvel at least didnt try and tease us by making it look like Jean was returning with this team

^^^^ Theres only about a hundred or so characters coming back from the dead in Necrosha. The Dark X-men have potential and theres a ton of people they could choose to add to the roster pretty soon

Hmm, what if this sparked a Search for Jean story? Norman has absolutely no experience with Phoenix and he's arrogant enough to think he could control and manipulate her into doing his dirty work. He has a score to settle with Emma for betraying him and Jean is the person from her past that could cause her some psychological pain. Plus Norman also hates Scott right now and wants him to pay for what went down in Utopia and what better weapon to use than Jean? It would be cool if he gives the Dark X-men the mission to find her

I agree. It could be a pretty good idea. I guess we'll just see how things pan out. In terms of adding characters to the roaster, I think Gambit could be a pretty good choice. It doesn't seem as if he's doing much in X-Men Legacy at the moment but that's just my opinion.

This is a team of villains with no real connection to the X-Men. They're X-Men in name only in Osbourne's eyes, it wouldn't make sense for someone from the real X-Men to just pop up as a member of the team here. You want to add characters, you look at mutant X-villains.

This is a team of villains with no real connection to the X-Men. They're X-Men in name only in Osbourne's eyes, it wouldn't make sense for someone from the real X-Men to just pop up as a member of the team here. You want to add characters, you look at mutant X-villains.

Id have to agree but Fraction seems to want all the X villians who are still mutants as X-men so there hasnt been much to choose from.

he was but hte point of Dark Reign was to make him a villian of everyone in the MU and the X-men is hte company's biggest franchise. Still it does seem to make about as little sense as Namor now being an X-man....

Well Sinister is dead. Osborn made the most sense as this has been building up for years and Bendis had him situated in the right position within the MU to make it happen. Not that I like it buts Norman's arrogance that's driving him. He's gone insane with power. He could care less about the X-men; he cares. The fact that Emma and Namor played him and Scott publicly humilated is whats driving him here. He probably would have moved on after Utopia, he has a score to settle with these 3 and they've made personal enemies out of him that he wont forget
