Does Mimic even still have all 5 of the original X-Men's powers? I don't even think he has Jean's TK, does he?

He has all of them but seems to primarily focus on Angel and Cyclop's powers. He uses the others less frequently and I cant even remember when the last time I saw him utilize Jean's

If I had Jean's TK, I'd be abusing the hell out of it. If he's not going to use Jean's powers (and he's only going to use Bobby's powers to lose in an ice-off), then he might as well replace them with someone else's powers.

Well the thing that might play a factor is that he absorbed Jean's power back in the 60s and she was fairly weak back then. She fainted when she lifted some heavy objects. She's since gotten a massive power upgrade. Im assuming the powers he aborsbed havent developed as they naturally would had he been born with them. What I dont get is why doesnt he ever mimic anyone elses powers? He's Rogue without the limitations. He has potential to be one of the most effective characters but sticks to the same old tricks. Thats a skill he probably stole from Iceman

i'd like to see mimic copy an uder-villains powers.
I think the Dark X-Men should be sent to investigate necrosha as well...all the dead people being brought back to life..lets get some cool villains returned..ones that people actually wouldnt mind a return from...like Sugar Man, Holocaust, Post..wait..is he dead or just depowered? I always though Abyss worked best as a bad guy, not the watered down 616 version.

Maybe Mimic has limits in mimicing other people's powers?

It would make more sense that way, he can mimic a lot of powers but his body might not be able to keep up with each and every one.

Mimic was indeed a minion of Onslaught, they he did absolutely nothing. He was rescued by Onslaught and given control of his powers (off panel). He showed up at the end of a later issue and baled Blob out (who was also enhanced by Onslaught). And that was the last we saw him or Blob as minions of Onslaught. It was a wasted story, as Mimic has the potential of being a great character.

Oh, and Post is indeed dead. He was killed by Pryo during the Dream's End storyline. He was attempting to assassination Senator Kelly but was fried by Pryo, who then died of the Legacy Virus. Good issue.

And man... I LOVED Abyss in both AoA and 616. I'd love to see him get a bigger role somewhere, and as Nightcrawler's half-brother, I'd think Dark X-Men would be a good place for him. He doesn't have his powers, but they were technologically returned, so it can work.

I find it dumb that they have Nate refer to "Jean" as mom. For one, he never had a mother. Not in AoA, and he never established that type of relationship with 616. Second, why would he instantly refer to her as mom? Its kind of crazy and nasty considering she looks exactly like Madelyne, the clone that he was screwing.

Bruce Wayne isn't clinging onto alternate universe versions of Thomas and Martha Wayne who have little to no emotional attachment to him because they never conceived a son named Bruce. Also, Bruce has accepted that his parents are "DEEAAADD." Rachel Summers, rather than accept her parents' death, is treating 616 Scott and Jean like they owe her something.
