If Namor's involved, he and Emma could probably drag the Dark X-Men (sans Daken) into it on the "good" side.
I don't think it's that cut-and-dried. The Dark X-Men, aside from Daken and probably Dark Beast, aren't impersonating anyone like the Dark Avengers are. Most of them have been recognized as heroes in their own right, so the public would easily buy them as a hero team.
Also, the Sentry and Ares aren't impersonating anyone either. As far as the public knows, they're the only "good" Avengers who decided to stay with the reorganized government team.
Maybe ONE got reorganized into a branch of HAMMER. As far as I understand it, HAMMER's in charge of pretty much everything related to superhumans of any kind in the United States now.
Yeah, it would. But the teams aren't really set up for that anymore. I mean, Hank might just have the Mighty Avengers drop in to help the X-Men, but the Dark Avengers obviously aren't helping anyone and Scott probably wouldn't even piss on a non-mutant who's burning to death at this point.I like to pretend HoM never happened. And I'm not saying they never crossover, just they haven't in any recent time (again no HoM, Lalalalalala *fingers in ears*). I'd so dig another secret wars though or acts of vengence. I just don't see them crossing over much till all this messiah nonsense is put to bed. It would be cool if once the X-Men or avengers just showed up in the other's book cause something major was going down and they were here to help.

Actually I think fraction implied that it will be scott's inate dickishness with X-Force that's gonna force osborn to do this. I wouldn't mind a reality check for scott. It would be cool to read an X-book other than X-factor.
Doesn't a solicit for the X-Men/Dark Avengers crossover also say something like "Norman Osborn is right"?I heard that the Dark X-Men are a response to X-Force, too (hypocritical though it may be, given that Osborn's got the Thunderbolts for exactly the same reason). But I still think the Illuminaughty are eventually going to implode.

I was thinking of this.the what now?
Same here. Post-The Twelve resurrection Cyclops is my favorite, especially Whedon's version in Astonishing X-Men. Badass, willing to make the hard calls, but not a complete *****e who would do something like sanction a team of assassins, including a teenager and a young woman who's drowning in self-loathing.eh, I prefer heroes to act heroically. My favorite stuff X related is a bit older where scott was moral, badass enough to threaten wolverine (and wolverine would back the **** off) and decent enough to help anyone no matter who they were.
I so hope Xavier gives Scott a good earful after all that bulls*** about how Xavier used the X-Men and how his dream failed in X-Men Legacy. To find out that this is how Scott is carrying on his legacy? Yeah, no wonder the dream failed, *****e; it's because you, once its most stalwart supporter, are now sanctioning assassin teams to murder your enemies in cold blood.![]()
