I could see if it was from the studio, director or one of the actors (even though I don't think actors should not involve themselves in this kind of matter), but some random, unknown? Good journalism there.

Yeah, usually doesn't matter though. They are putting the thoughts in heads, and then people freak on the possibility it's true. Best not to believe it and just ignore. But tht's never been the case.

I know! The director, Singer, says Rogue is out or basically out of DOFP or the OT cast not likely to be in next movie=lies.

You can say the OT cast not being in Apocalypse is a lie but you would be wrong most likely. Singer in that TotalFilm article mentioned that it's going to be in the 80's and we'll see younger versions of familiar faces. If that means Cyclops, Jean and Storm, guess what...they'll be played by younger actors. I fully believe DoFP is most likely the last film with the OT cast, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

That is what I was saying. That there will be new actors in old roles. No one said that they would not use people like Cyclops, Jean and Storm again. That would be crazy. Famke looks great for her age, but she can't pass for a teen or 20's or even 30's.

And people are bored because lack of marketing/info. Still, that story was so over the top that I was lol about it. Singer was going to do this AND drop the bomb her at the premier. Really?

Yup, the marketing for this movie has been a huge misstep. I'm certain if they don't turn it around soon the studio will be severing some top execs in charge of this campaign. I find this media plan to be sort of ridiculous.

By the time the trailer comes out so much negativity can harm the film that it won't have the impact they hope.

Dude, no. Just no.

The only "negativity" about this movie is coming from people like you that will see the move so matter what. The GA is not going to boycott the movie just because they didn't get a second trailer by some arbitrary date. We're 2.5 months out, there shouldn't be a full-on marketing blitz right now.

Seriously people, go outside. Get some fresh air. It's all going to be OK.

Yeah the most vocal people, with the biggest complaints, are probably all going to see it opening weekend. And then the GA will get intrigued in the last month or two leading up to the film, as it should be.

They're professional hand-wringers. Anything that can be interpreted or misinterpreted in any way that will upset them, they run with it.

I hope this is false because I like my Halle!Storm. Ive accepted it. Cut some wolverine scenes if anything, lord knows he has enough screen time.

I don't see any negativity for this film at all outside of places like this, trailer or not. I also have a feeling it will be a great film, the best X-film so far. But...there is a lack of buzz around my area for now as far as I can see, at least relative to many previous films at the same stage. And that's not a problem as long as the trailer eviscerates t: & the marketing is really good when it does kick in.

I have 2 non-geek friends who like X-films much more than most other comic films, enough to have seen them all and own them all and they didn't know about this. I mean once I told them about both casts being involved they went crazy. Hopefully whatever marketing is to come would mean that they would be just as hyped without any involvement from me.

Who knows what her role would be in the final edit? I was calling bs on her finding out at the premier. That part sounded like a gossip blogger's dream come true instead of real information.

Plus, she only filmed for a few days or so and she was pregnant, and you can only do so much in that situation in this type of movie. So, I was not expecting her to do that much anyway. Stunt people can't do everything.
