I didnt like Mystique and Beast being seniors and Cyke Kurt Jean Storm .... treated like kids. IT was ridiculous. Of course Hank is older in the comics too. In x-men movie Gambit and Psylocke are older than Cyclops'generation so they wouldnt fit in x-team

There were plenty of wrong in the prequel films.

Its a bit weird how Jubilee was very comic book accurate in X-Men: Apocalypse, which was set in the 80s, when she debuted in 1989 and her most iconic stuff took place in the 90s. And when they do Dark Pheniox, which is set in the 90s, they couldn't use Jubilee because the actress was doing something else. Just another way they mishandled the prequel aspect of these movies.

They just didn't have a vision for the character.

Even Evan Peters who did something in Dofp/Apocalypse, got a smaller role in Dark Phoenix.

RIP Roberta Flack (1937-2025).

Her song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” was featured in Days of Future Past when Logan woke up in 1973 (and again in 2023).
