*I know there is Superman: Doomsday and I liked the Death of Superman part of it but I was let down by the return.

Oh, and BATMAN/SUPERMAN/WONDERWOMAN: Trinity, by Matt Wagner, with little changes here and there.

They could also do well to adapt either Alex Ross' JUSTICE or KINGDOM COME. Though I don't think the world is ready for the latter yet.

Other animated DC movies I'd be interested in seeing are:
A stand-alone Flash film,
Wonder Woman: Ends of the Earth or Eyes of the Gorgon,
A true New Gods adaptation, and, as something truly worth experimenting,
an Anthology piece adapting (perhaps in CGI) the entire Alex Ross/Paul Dini collaboration (War on Crime, Peace on Earth, Spirit of Truth, and Power of Shazam).

I watched some of the Fleischer Superman cartoons with my daughters over the weekend. They're a lot of fun. The animation was very smooth and the style would look great on an animated movie version of "The Golden Age." That series has really been overlooked.

Bruce Timm cited the Fleischer Superman as influencing his Batman series from the early 90s, so at least its influence lives on.

An Epic budgeted Animation trilogy of No Man's Land called:

- Batman:Cataclysm

- Batman: New Gotham

And a super-gritty war drama styled Enemy Ace feature.

Kind of off topic, but not quite.

I think DC is going about everything all wrong. Instead of live action feature films...they should be doing big budget CGI films...after watching the cinema's for DC Universe Online...it just seems like a better fit. They can get away with more and it would look amazing. Imagine a fully CGI, big budget Batman or Justice League film. No need to alter the costumes too much as you can get away with more in CGI than you can in real life actors.

^ You are not the first person to suggest that, but I do not agree. I have already seen the DC characters in animated form plenty of times by now. CGI animation is a different medium from live action, and right now, live action is what most of us want.

Anyway, I really want DC to make an animated Flash movie. Even if it were Barry Allen I'd probably end up buying it.

I think a Martian Manhunter/detective story would be an interesting story.

I'd to see an animated feature of the JSA going up against Black Adam after he's the deposed the government of Kahndaq and taken over the country.

Love the thought of JLA: Tower of Babel being an animated feature. Batman's strategies against his teammates taken and used against them? Sweet!

I'd like a 2 parter of Identity Crisis and Crisis of Conscience.

And the Tornado's Path. That's such a great story told within the selection of new members for the team. And it's got a good cast of villains: Amazo, Solomon Grundy with smarts, Ivo's other Tornado types.
