looks pretty sweet but whats up with the giant robot
Toyman builds an giant Superman/Batman robot, who Captain Atom pilots into Earth's strathosphere. The robot crashes with the Kryptonite meteor, destroying it, and Cap. Atom absorves the radiation, saving Earth (Altough several mutated meteorites fell on Earth). It's later revealed that the Meteor was actually covering Supergirl's ship.

yea, I was hoping they weren't going to use that paticular image but eh

I just read on tvshowsondvd.com that John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox from Scrubs), Allison Mack (Chloe on Smallville) and CCH Pounder (Amanda Waller on JLU) are part of the cast.

I'm betting on Pounder as Waller, McGinley as Captain Atom and Mack as... Power Girl? Or could it be Supergirl? :wow:

I could see McGinley as Captain Atom, but I was actually considering him as Metallo.

Yeah, Cap got blasted into the Wildstorm universe and set up the awesome Captain Atom: Armageddon mini. Easily the best thing the character has ever been in. :o

if this is true, damn stellar voice casting

yea cant wait ot see who is who with the rest of the voice cast. By chance is there any other clips online yet of this?

I won't be completely excited until I know the storming of the White House with the Bat family is included.

if it is, we'll probably see babs as batgirl...huntress might stay, too

Something tells me they cut the Super/Bat families, but I also tough Lex wouldn't be president, and was proven wrong.

I am still surprised by how fast this movie got made. It feels like just yesterday I read the announcement that this was the next DTV from DC.

Hopefully that doesn't mean a rushed product. I still think the DTVs so far have been underwhelming considering their potential.

I've read here that everyone liked the Wonder Woman DTV but I found it boring. I'm looking forward to the GL one though.

Superman Doomsday was decent. That Doomsday/Superman fight was badass 6/10
Gotham Knight was interesting but overall I think it just fell flat 6/10
The New Frontier was boring and I hated the animation save for Green Lantern 5/10
Wonder Woman I thought was really good it had good action and was funny but ironically I think it sold the worse out of all the other titles 8/10

But from the looks of it Superman/Batman and First Flight looks like they will be great

Public Enemies was actually first mentioned last summer on August 6th, 2008. http://animationguildblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/summertime-walk-around.html

That means it was at least being developed many months before that, as the blog post notes that it was already in production.

These movies take a long time--we just don't hear about them formally until they are nearing completion. In fact, when I was at Comic-Con last summer, as they premiered the first footage of Wonder Woman, they also mentioned that they had sent off storyboards for the next movie (which we now know to be Green Lantern).

In fact, I'd venture to guess that they've ramped up the production schedule to the point where they are about 3 movies ahead of what has been announced.

JL: Haven't heard a thing, but they keep secrets really well over there. Batman: The Long Halloween is certainly one of my favorite stories, and I was incredibly flattered how much has been used in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

He's flattered they used like, two moments from his two 25 issue miniseries?

hey there. i realise there will be a new animated batman film in 2010, but is there any more additional batman films after this whether they are animated or not ?
