DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

I wonder when they'll get around to making a Flash DTV.

But back OT: Do you think that they'll turn B/S into a series of DTVs, in the same style/voice talent?

I hope so, I've been wanting an animated version of Superman/Batman: Supergirl for a LONG time, and it is the sequel to the Public Enemies arc so I'm hoping.

Just in case you guys were wondering, that picture is definitely legit...it comes from Warner Home Video's quarterly release party in which they preview upcoming titles. They were also advertising Green Lantern: First Flight, but we know when that is coming out!

I believed it. :brucebat:

the trailer looks VERY cool. I like the graphic novel so I will definitely get this. I just didn't expect the trailer to come out so early nor the movie.

^yea, they're really pumping these bad boys out

my guess is to give the fans something in return for the lack of live action films?

The best part for me is the return of Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly and Clancy Brown!

this looks awesome. I didn't know Conroy, Daly, and Brown will be back! Such a great team they are!

I didn't read the article, just took a quick view of the pics, is there a reason that Captain Marvel was replaced by Captain Atom? glad to see Batman vs Hawkman is still in

Captain Marvel is still in it (he is mentioned in the article). Both Captain Marvel and Captain Atom are in the comic, featured in different scenes.

The changes to the story actually seem like they've improved on the original. It seems that they've gotten rid of the "Metallo might have killed Batman's parents" and the Future Superman plotlines. I'm glad that they did that, as they are distractions to the overall story and I always thought they were kind of silly.

I just hope that they kept the scene of the Bat and Super Families storming the White House.

Here are the mentioned changes:

. Luthor is the president of the USA, and really appears to have changed, but the idea of being forced to ask Superman for help to stop the meteor drives him insane again.

. Superman appears to have killed Metallo, and Luthor uses it in his advantage, saying the Kryptonite radiation is making Superman psychotic, and it'll only get worse as the Meteor comes closer to Earth, putting the public against Superman.

. Luthor uses an presidential order to convince the heroes (Captain Atom, Major Force, Power Girl, Katana, Black Lightning, Starfire, Captain Marvel and Hawkman) to hunt down Superman and Batman.

Thank you, I'm REALLY looking forward to this!

It's just great to have Conroy voicing Batman on a film that makes sense for him to do so. Him being the voice of Batman on Gotham Knight, as much as I may like the movie, was just stupid.

This, however, is just awesome.

Looks like there will be guest apperances by Hawkman, Power Girl, Kitanna, Captain Atom, Major Force, Starfire, Black Lightning, Black Manta, Giganta, Copperhead, Catman, and others. I've got a very good feeling that this DTV will outsell both Supman/Doomsday and Batman: Gotham Knights combined.

too bad about the "older" superman being written out. he had a good resolution at the end of the absolute power arch. i guess that plotline will just confuse everyone.

All of whom are in the actual comic

Yeah, I didnt quite get the older Superman thing. I was like "Kingdom Come Superman? What?" Overall, its no big loss.

Well, they had to cut some stuff out to get the running time down. That seems like as good a thing to cut as anything.
