DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

Because they, of late, can barely animate his cape, let alone a cape with an "S".

Ew, Superman: Doomsday is number 1?! :csad: And thats the worst one we've gotten!

Weird...
I do find that disturbing.

And I can never forgive Marvel wasting all that money that could have been spent on a solo venture for someone like Captain America or Thor on a bunch of worthless kid heroes who have never and will never exist in the mainstream Marvel universe (and what was up with making Thor a slacker dead beat dad?).

I can't wait for this to come out, I liked Superman doomsday, I thought Batman gotham knight was okay as well as jl: the new frontier, but wonder woman was horrible. I'm waiting on the new animated lantern movie.

I could not disagree more. Wonder Woman was the best of the bunch.

Wonder Woman was good. I'm liked Superman Doomsday as well. New Frontier was not good at all. Looking forward to GL:FF. But I think Superman/Batman will be the best!

I dont get how one could find Superman: Doomsday good and not New Frontier. New Frontier was fantastic! Doomsday was ****.

I like Doomsday, New Frontier and WW, but not Gotham Knight. GL will probably top them and Public Enemies will be the best of the bunch.

I can't wait to find out who's doing the voice for Hawkman. I freakin' love Hawkman. :woot:

I was disappointed in New Fromtier because it paled in comparison to the graphic novel. So maybe I'm a bit biased.

I didnt care for Gotham Knight when it first came out, but after repeated viewings, I've warmed up to it quite a bit.

Superman: Doomsday > New Frontier

Like both a lot, but didn't like that Superman was defeated so easily by the end of New Frontier. Hated it. He seemed so weak. They wrote it that way so that Green Lantern could 'shine'... meh.

Haven't seen the others, though I own Wonder Woman but haven't seen it yet; I'm waiting to watch it with my nephew who adores her.

Yea i didnt quint like gotham knight much myself either, it wasnt the anime style look i thought that was cool, overall i just didnt like it. As for new frontier i thought it was ok i never read the graphic novel so i dont know how it compares to it and lack of it. As for gl i cant wait to see it when i can, and same goes for public enemies it looks interesting and seeing all the voice actors invovled it should be sweet. As for ww i only seen the first 30 mins of it so i still need to watch the rest of it to judge it more.

The same thing happened in the book - Superman goes to investigate the flying island of doom and gets clobbered, doesn't reappear until the end when Aquaman shows up.

Then what are you waiting for!?!? Grab that nephew (whom I think I love at this point) and sit down and watch it already!!! I loved it...and I also adore her!

Ah, well lame. :cmad:

I also didn't care for the whole flying island of doom. They didn't develop it enough, in the movie at least, and as a result it seemed so campy and cheesy, imo.

He lives in another town. I'm waiting to watch it with him cuz I'm sure it will be more exciting. and I like wondy a lot too. :cwink:

I think Green Lantern First Flight is the best of the bunch so far. I thought Wonder Woman was kind of boring. I did enjoy Superman Doomsday and New Frontier a lot though.

GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT was disappointing. I'm really hoping PUBLIC ENEMIES is better, but not expecting much. The DC animated universe needs new blood.

Did you guys see Green Lantern: First Flight in its entirety or are you talking about the first four to five minutes?

Guess I'm the only one here that's liked them all so far. :oldrazz:

GL: First Flight was awesome! It showed everything about the Lanterns that needed to be showed, it had Hal being really brave (rather than somebody saying how brave he is, it's shown!), they are portrayed as interstellar cops/marines rather than superheros (which I love). It condenses a good amount of what the whole GL thing is about into a nice package, great starting point for someone liek my sister who had no idea about the franchise.

She loved it. It was a damn cool movie. A bit abrupt in the beginning like we have all seen, and also in the end, but the final battle was epic though.

For once we agree on something :oldrazz:. I hated that Superman was barley there & that when he was there he looked weak. Bleh, i prefered Doomsday waaaaaayyyy more. Atleast Superman kicked ass & took numbers in that movie. I also saw GL:FF last night & I have to say before going in I really could have cared less about GL but after watching that movie I am now a fan. He's a great character. Then finding out that my fav actor will be palying him in the live action movie just was the icing on the cake for me. I recommend GL:FF to everyone whether your a fan or not, it's well written & directed IMO. the animation was also the best yet for sure. they stepped it up a notch big time me thinks. I also liked that the running time was slightly longer than the previous efforts. others were to short IMO.
