DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

fixed.

Marvel needs to take notes and stop making those crappy teen, kiddie cartoons they keep making.

Next from Marvel, Teen Thor.

haha, true that!!!

the first avengers movie for them wasn't too bad, i still never saw hulk vs.

but screw them!

Interesting. Anyone thinks the upcoming Superman/Batman: PE movie will be able to top Superman: Doomsday?

Superman: Doomsday Tops the Comic-to-DVD Market

The explosion in comic book-related films in the last few years isn't confined to the big screen, or to live action. Both of the "big two" comic book publishers, DC Comics and Marvel Comics, have released a number of high-quality direct-to-DVD animated features based upon their characters.
While Marvel Comics may be the king of the comic book rack, DC Comics is the champion in comic book-related animated DVD sales, according to
The-Numbers.com

1. Superman: Doomsday - 9.4 million
2. Batman: Gotham Knight - 8.0 million
3. Ultimate Avengers 2 - 7.8 million
4. Ultimate Avengers - 6.7 million
5. Hulk Vs. - 5.4 million
6. Invincible Iron Man - 5.2 million
7. Justice League: The New Frontier - 5.2 million
8. Dr. Strange - 3.9 million
9. Wonder Woman - 3.4 million
10. Next Avengers - 2.9 million

Ew, Superman: Doomsday is number 1?! :csad: And thats the worst one we've gotten!

Weird...

I don't think it was the worst one.
All honestly I think Batman Gotham Knight was the first one we got, but again that is my opinion.

Oh and Proto you said there is a new trailer in GL First Flight? Have you seen it?

Well, I take some of it back, Hulk Vs. was greatness, everything else, not so much. Even Iron Man, who I'm a huge fan of.

Marvel had the opportunity to make a classic Avengers DTV, but what do we get, kiddie Avengers.

Marvel has the opportunity to make a badass Thor DTV to get him out there to the public like Green Lantern next week, but what are we going to get? Kiddie Thor.

Don't get me started on Iron Man: Armored Adventures or IMINO

Enough of my rant.

Public Enemies is going to outsell all of them. Bet on that.

What I hate about the Marvel DTVs is that they have the same two guys writing every single one of them. It's like, ****, expand your horizons Marvel....

LMAO, are you serious?

Well that explains a lot.

It's based on a well known and popular Superman story, plus the DVD cover stands out well in stores. Gotham Knight, however, should have done well if it rode on the success of Begins/TDK but the fact people knew it was anime put a lot of people off.

Yea it would be nice if marvel would drop those stupid kid/teen version of characters dtv films and do some pg13 mature stuff like dc. Though it is funny dc is doing so well on the animated front but marvel is kicking butt on the live action front. To by they both cant be doing well with both animated/live action.

I remember this story line from the first 6 issues of Superman/Batman.

Not a big fan of the animation. If they did a chain of animated films of DC's heroes, and combined them into an animated Justice League, that'd be great, though. None-the-less, I'll give this film a shot. I liked Wonder Woman.

wtf? why do they insist on not including the yellow "s" on superman's cape anymore?
