DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

Uh no. During the reign of Superman storyline they revealed what happened to Doomsday where his body what and what happened to him ultimately.

Wow, a / or a : . Still an adaptation.

Also in terms of THEIR story it was ridiculous they bring in Doomsday and just toss him away like a bad plot device. Bad storytelling. They don't reveal what happens to Doomsday's remains. Pathetic.

I enjoyed the film alot . Conroy & Daly are without a doubt the definitive voices of Batman & Superman . The chemistry they've got together is incredible . After watching the film I picked up the comic book version of Public Enemies and I could hear their voices in the dialogue . Brown still kickass as Lex Luthor. I still wished Dana Delany reprised her role as Lois Lane to complete the reunion .

I enjoyed the film but I was kinda disappointed that key moments from the comic version didn't make it in the film . (Example : The Origin of Bats & Sups, The White House rescue by the Bat family & Sups family , Future Superman beating the crap out of Batman & Superman in the batcave .etc....) This film seemed more like an episode of JLU than a direct adaptation of the comic.

The animation was very choppy at times . And what's the deal with no \S/ on the cape first Superman : Doomsday now this film .

I would've also liked if they kept the monologue banter between Bruce & Clark through the film like in the comic .

Just watched it, lovely animation and some cool fights, great dialogue and voice cast. But it comes and goes a bit too quick (should have been +/- 15 minutes longer) and a bit too much villains (not reading the comics, so had to do some research on wiki) are some of the remarks. It's not as epic as i thought it would be and the plot was not as consistent/well developed as the other 2 DC movies this year, but it was definitely a very enjoyable watch. I highly recommend it. I rank it the third best DCUOAM movie, after Green Lantern:FF and Wonder Woman. Now it's waiting for Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths!!

I'm so disappointed. That was trash. Batman does not beat Lady Shiva that easily, if he beats her at all.

Actually

one of my favorite parts of the book was the parallel they used between supes and bats at the begining of the book. i wish they kept that instead of showing lex's rise to power.

I just watched it yesterday and i liked it. I felt like i was watching another episode of JLU since most of the voice actor's from the show came back. Only thing that gets me is i dont understand why they treat Captain Marvel like he's not on the same level as Superman. That probably the only big problem i had.

I guess it hurts to see your favorite character get no love. First Justice League Unlimited: "Clash" now this.

So...because Jeph Loeb didn't know how a fight with Shiva would go down to begin with...the movie's version of events is any more in character?

Watched this last night and enjoyed it. The movie definitely could have used another 10-15 minutes, though.

I loved this movie! I was so happy Kevin came back to voice Batman.

What was with those abs though. Damn...

Their not gonna beat Superman up with a no-namer.

Captain Marvel is not a no-name, kid.

He's, obviously, not on the same level as Superman and Batman, but he is well known.

Jesus christ I havent seen this yet, but the abs are ridiculous..

You want me to go ask ten people on the street. I mean the guy has had two appearances in animated programs he is a no namer.

:super::ybat::brucebat::supes: Man, I can't wait to buy this movie!!! I love the Comic series, each story is so much fun. It's cool too when they take old stories from the 50's like from World's Finest and up date them.

I LOVE the first story and am so happy to see Public Enemies turned into a movie. Also, I really Love Ed's artwork and think that is so truly awesome that they made the cartoon style look like Mr. Mcguiness' artwork. I am so happy about this film. All Summer I couldn't wait for Fall for this movie, this is the movie I've been most hyped about! There were some good Summer movies out thias year like G.I. Joe and the wonderful StarTrek, but it's funny the movie I looked forward to the most has been a made for DVD movie.

It looks to be faithful to the source material, although I see they added some villians, like Bane and Mr. Freeze to that big battle scene. But hey, that's fine by me, they are 2 of my fave Bat-Villians! Better to add something cool than take away something.

Nothing and no one can bring me down about this movie. I can't wait till this up coming Tuesday!

Captain Marvel is on the same level as Flash, GL and Aquaman. He had a live action tv series and an animated one.

Everyone has heard the word 'Shazam'. :woot:

A no-name would be Rocket Red or Crimson Fox.

because of Gomer Pyle, not the comic...I do recall the horrid live action series, they had an RV that had a lightning bolt plastered on the front of it....when was there an animated series??
