That would be the worst April Fools joke since Andrew Brynarski who is the only one who should play Lobo has been trying to get it off the ground. His friend is supposedly writing a script (which actually sounds so terribly unofficial) which Andrewbrought up during TCM: The Beginning interiews.

Reaction after actually reading the article:
Considering the fact they signed Viggo to play Lobo seems really suspect,and that it is from a fansite. Its pretty impressive the quote they wrote up to credit him with though. WHen I first saw DC announces I thought it was gonna be more than a fansite mention (not that necessarily means anything).

But WB is once again trying to replicate the success of another studio. Do your own thing WB and stop being so damn reactive.

Deadpool was awesome as hell but 'Lobo' should gain momentum only if they manage to put together a decent story/script. Lay down solid foundations and the rest will fall into place. I think Bay can deliver if he has good material to work with. So I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.
