With this years equivalent to DC’s SDCC showing coming up, and with Reeves confirming The Batman will be there, I figured it’d be a good idea to de-clog the News thread, and make a thread for us to share speculation, rumors, hopes, and expectations of what we’ll be getting in regards to the FanDome event.

Which section of Fandome will the Batman panel be on? Watch verse?

It's worth saying again, this is a great gesture by AT&T and Warner Bros. An entire day to celebrate all things DC. Announcements, surprise appearances, first looks, etc.

Can't wait. And here's hoping it's such a success that it becomes an annual affair. Or maybe every other year.

Just 2 or 3 weeks away but still feels far away. The live streams will consume me!

I am so hyped guys. This is so huge.

I’m really hoping we get Ryan Reynolds and Michael Keaton confirmed for GL and Batman.

Not going to happen, but I would love to get confirmation of an old man Batman movie. Kingdom Come, TDKR, or Batman Beyond.

I’m kind of curious about some of the names on the announcement. Caterina Scorsone (Grey’s Anatomy) and Daniel Dae Kim for example.

She, as far as I can tell, has never been in a DC project, and he was Metron on JLU but that was for, like, two episodes so I can’t imagine they’d invite him for something like a JL cast reunion.

Future DTV voice cast, maybe?

Will this be on youtube on an official channel or just the website?

I just hope they announce if Green Arrows and the Canaries will happen or not. Its been 7 months.

I hope not. I love the DC Universe comics library. When it folds, I will go through serious withdrawals
If they cut the comics library, they’re idiots. But it seemed like HBO Max was dipping its toes into comic publishing, so ideally the comics library would remain in that event.

If anything, expand that ****. Vertigo, Milestone, Black Label, the works.

But it seemed like HBO Max was dipping its toes into comic publishing
What's this referring to?

Because right now, given how lazily they just adopted HBO Now's existing UI to "create" HBO Max's, I'm finding it hard to believe they'd give their app the complete UI overhaul it would need to include the comics reading functions into the mix. As much as I'd wish otherwise. :(
