I was pleasantly surprised. The Super Pets are a collection of my least favorite comic book characters, so I only watched for Jessica Cruz. It meandered and felt lifeless in the middle, but it did just enough to be worthwhile. It will appeal to kids, and undoubtedly make new fans. That's the most important aspect of a film like this.
