DC vs. Marvel Issue

Was there a DC. vs. Marvel crossover issue in which the main heroes like Supes, Batman and WW fought against the Spidey, Wolverine and Storm?

If so, does anyone know what the match ups were and who won?

how come there was outrage or controversy over the Storm vs. Wonderwoman and fight, I get why there'd be outrage between Lobo vs. Wolverine, as Lobo posseses all of Wolverine's abilties, except his claws, but is significantly smarter and immortal?

Well, I admit, I liked seeing Thor pummel Captain Marvel.

Actually he did not pummel him. The fight was soooo stupid; Cap lost because ......
he changed back to Billy Batson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
......In the middle of a fight with Thor, so he could escape more quickly from under the ferris wheel that Thor threw at him!
The only thing more idiotic than that was Wolverine beating Lobo in a bar fight that we did not even get to see!

Because Wonder Woman has won fist-fights with gods and has been able to knock around Superman himself on a good day--she should be more than able to deal with some bad weather.

I don't think so. I haven't read it yet. But the story has them each team end up in the other's world for a while,
then they do things (I think) like fight characters from that world (so it would be the Avengers versus a JLA bad guy)
then they fight, and I think then they team up or something.

Again I don't know yet because I just got the book and haven't read it yet.
But they do have things like Martian Manhunter and the JLA getting a hold of the Ultimate Nullifier, or the Avengers being praised as heroes and celebrities in Metropolis.

It could've been handled better, but Captain Marvel's schtick ever since Kingdom Come has been using his magic lightning to either win or royally screw himself in all his fights, so you can't really blame whoever wrote Marvel vs. DC for just going with the times.

I honestly can't get worked up about it now that DC and Midway have forever redefined what a travesty is.

On the plus side, I am at least a little in favor of any game where you can stab Hal Jordan in the junk.

yeah, i saw the promos for it the other day, I'm really interested in seeing the Joker, Flash, Raiden and Superman more than any other character in this game

I wounder who thought to match these two up, and see what ya mean about how they didn't show the Joker's bullet connecting, but they showed far worse

He's also Superman Class in strength.
