DC vs. Marvel Issue

It doesn't look like a mix of them much is my point. As you point out it is dominantly Cap. There needs to be more change to the costume. And the S-shield looks so dumb and too small.

I liked the Amalgam comics. Merging DC and Marvel characters was a fun idea. I don't think many of them came out that great, but some were fun.

Yeah. I thought of one they Missed. Moon Morpho. Paladin of the Sun and the Moon. (Secret ID: Rex Spector race car driver and Mercenary).

The Orb of Ra and Konshu's statue were both in that locked Pyramid chamber. By day Rex is the monstrous shapechanging transmuter. By Night he's mortal and works for Knonshu.

It was several years before he was revealed to be two super identities.

Really. The 40s DC hero "The Tarantuala" used one.
Except that the Tarantula was a normal human who relied on gadgets to fight crime. Spider-Boy had powers, and Spider-Man has web shooters, so why did they have to chiange that? It just seemed random and goofy at the time.

I'm not dissing the web gun, but it just seems nonsensical in the context.
Whatever...

Web shooting gadget (wrist bands) became Web shooting device (pistol). If they were using a point based SHRPG to design the characters you might conclude they needed to shave a few points off the cost to get in under budget. So a hard to steal webshooter with a back up becomes a single easily stolen or attacked pistol.

Since they weren't, I'd assume the writer or artist has a gun fetish of some sort. ;)

Oh, I can totally see that, but when they're rolling the ten sided dice, they'd be doing it in alleyway somewhere, making sure there are no cops around...
