I want them to look fierce and comic accurate.

Though with Domino, they already failed making her look comic accurate.

Comic Accurate i hate this word so much , i haven't ready 1 single comic in 18 years so i give a **** how they look alike today i want just to be entertaint , what brings me the best costumes or looks if the movie sucks in generall ? you should finally except that FOX will never be 100 % or never in 1000 lives will be Comic Accurate and thats for the 99% from all here fine you are the only childheaded here

Deadpool was totally comic-accurate in costume, attitude and everything else and turned into a huge success and was universally liked. He was totally not comic-accurate when he appeared in XMO:W though and that didn't turn out so well. :yay:

One was good, one was bad though. Comic accurate does not equal good.

You bring up Deadpool. I’m a huge fan of David [Leitch]’s and I just can’t wait to see what he does with the material. One of the thing’s David known for is action. He’s a very, very good action director. What can you tease people about the action in the sequel? What surprised you about doing it?

BROLIN: I had heard somewhere along the line, and I think it’s okay for me to say this, but I heard somewhere along the line that they felt the first Deadpool didn’t have enough action. I don’t know who said that or why they said that or even if I felt that. I don’t think I did because I loved the first Deadpool. I thought it was really kind of irreverent, and amazing, and intelligent, and turned everything on its head, and I appreciated it.

One of the things that I think a lot of people are curious about is Cable’s origin… The character of Cable has been something that’s been explored for a very long time and I think a lot of fans are curious, sort of what version is going to be in the film and how much are they going to reveal in this one? How much about his story is going to be spread out over the next few films?

BROLIN: I think that’s the biggest thing. No, no, no. I’m not going to tell you how much I’m in the film, but it’s his introduction, and I think his introduction, even in the small promos and teasers that we’ve seen, that David has showed me, I think it’s a proper reveal. I think we’re not trying to hide the fact that this is the beginning of Cable and absolutely not the end. I think when you’re sensitive about how you appreciate it. When you’re sensitive about how you reveal this character there’s a sense of mystery in it, so then when we finally get into X-Force that you’re going to be with this guy full blown all the time. There’s a lot to be revealed. There’s a lot to be revealed, but there’s three more movies to reveal more.

Sounds like there may be more action than the first one!

Yeah, there will definitely more and bigger action the sequel.

But I agree with Brolin, there WAS enough action in the original.

sequels always try to go bigger with action.

i will be surprised if they go much if at all withc able's origin here.sounds like this is his introduction.cable when first appeared was more of a mysteras character.and let's just say there are convulted comic storylines and then there is cable's:cwink:

Makes sense because he worked with Leitch before, but part of me did hope we'd get someone new to the genre. I hope they retain the synth heavy nature of Junkie's work - felt it matched Deadpool very well.

I can't find a source, either. Which is weird.

It's a funny poster, though, if legit. :woot:

EDIT: It seems like Fox is going the viral with the Deadpool 2 marketing. They're handing out Good Housekeeping issues featuring your favorite Merc with a Mouth on the cover:

Which is probably where that first teaser poster popped up, as well.

I'm salivating at the thought of what we could get as far as marketing for this film, or just Deadpool hopefully commenting on superhero films as a whole. Since his film, we've had heroes fighting heroes, villains fighting villains, that supposed Disney/Fox deal that fell apart, the teaser for this film coming before Logan, and Deadpool congratulating Wonder Woman on passing it at the domestic box office.

The sky's the limit.

Hmm. Reynolds Tweeted it anyway, so must be.

Ha, love both.

That good housekeeping poster made my day, haha. RR is a marketing genius.

It begins....trailer with Star Wars? Looking forward to the marketing campaign almost as much as the movie itself. Wonder if they will do the 12 days till Christmas thing again.

This film really does have a unique way with marketing. :funny:

Star Wars would be right on track when the marketing for the recent X-films has began (6 months), so I can definitely see the film do the 12 days of Christmas thing again. I loved that marketing tactic.

A poster that isn't a bad photoshop, already a winner.

But that is a great poster to highlight the cast.
