Colossus and Cable require plenty of CGI work. So no wonder they're absent.

She's a lesbian?

I think the actress is, though...

Looks like Joshua Middleton's New Mutants outfits were the inspiration again.

Lets not turn this into the Dark Phoenix board please.

That was a cool unexpected surprise. NTW looks awesome! Digging the updated suite.:up:
Stefen and Liefeld answered a few question for THR, and the only thing we learn about the actual film is that NTW is no longer Colossus' trainee. She's a full-fledged X-Man now, hence her dope suit.

I love how it covers her hands too.

Watched Russian version of the teaser. Man, they really approached it with care. Well, no wonder, if I'm not mistaken, the first Deadpool was the biggest CBM here along with The Avengers.

Is that the cinematographer for the "No Good Deed" short?

That one shot of the guy surrounded by fire, he seemed to be controlling it. Could it be Pyro or someone else?

After seeing Ntw's costume in the first Deadpool film, I wanted the New Mutants to do the same. But it's not gonna happen, thanks Josh Boone!

I don't get the impression it's Josh Boone's idea to not have costumes, although he's obviously OK with going forward without them.

This was a cool trailer. I love the joke part at first, but the sizzle reel is the best part.

That teaser is why I don't want the mutants going anywhere. It had more identity and individuality in a few seconds than either of November's superhero offerings.

Not only that, but it’s clearly different from those movies also. It’s the same reason I don’t want X-Men going to Disney. The likes of Deadpool and Logan just wouldn’t happen.

That’s it even accounting for the likes of the Predator, Die Hard and Alien franchises.

Anyone notice the quick shot of Cable's hand grabbing a gun after the credits?

Could have done with a few seconds more sizzle.

At this point, they're both clear stylistic choices of the respective creative teams. Ryan and co. like to put in NTW in a colorful costume but put Cable in more realistic clothing (and even his future clothing seems to be a white suit vs a traditional X-Men costume) and pick an obscure version of Dom's costume. Boone wants to go full horror/psychodrama, so he's avoiding costumes but isn't afraid to throw in magic swords, werewolves and a demon bear. Mangold doesn't want costumes but is okay with clones and cyborgs. It is what it is.

Julian doesn't seem to be playing an established character, but he does seem to have a big role in the film.

It didn't occur to me until now that we've heard next to nothing about the villain role Jack Kesy will be playing since we learned of the casting in May. I know there was some speculation that he may be Black Tom, but just remembered that yeah, he's in this movie somewhere, too.

Who ever is doing the marketing for Deadpool needs a raise.

So if Disney buys 20th Century Fox there'll be no more Predator, Die Hard and Alien films? Now I really want it to happen.

They would acquire them and could use them for their theme parks and attractions. Those three franchises don't need to continue in movies Imo. And its likely Fox could continue just under a different company. Expect though for Disney to use F4/XM for Marvel Studios' established universe thus finally ending the continuity mess that is Fox's X-Men film series.

And a Deadpool h*** j**.

I would be delighted if every single trailer for this movie was like this one:

A hilarious parody of something old and weird, with just a few seconds of actual footage.
