What does this have to do with anything?Iconography, lol. Ask Joe Public and they won't know who Domino is.
They will after the movie.
In Joker's case it was trivial. Because he still looked 100% like Joker.I 100% do not care about the changes to Domino's look. This sort of reminds me of the whole Joker is not perma-white in TDK debate. Ultimately, it is trivial.

Kane, could I please get this in avy form?

You said the look was part of her ''iconography''...i.e. that the look is ''iconic''. That's a huge stretch.
To say that she is ''unrecognizable'' from her comic book counterpart is false.

I think you don't understand the meaning of the word. You said the look was part of her ''iconography''...i.e. that the look is ''iconic''. That's a huge stretch.

Apparently you don't. Because iconography has nothing to do with how recognizable something by GA or not.I understand the word and the meaning just fine, thanks.
I stand by my opinion that iconography needs to be respected. Just because she's a lesser known character doesn't mean I have to embrace their experiments.Perhaps for you.

Lol. He does.Peter looks majestic.
which I can see as being annoying to people who wanted the character to look like she does in the comics. There's really nothing wrong with that but I can't really fault the filmmakers if they felt like Beetz was the best person for the job and adapted the character to best suit her. To me it looks like they saw Domino as a perfect victim for the joke. So they can add diversity with a "clever" take on the character. To me movie Domino looks like alt version skin of the character you would select in Marvel vs Capcomwhich I can see as being annoying to people who wanted the character to look like she does in the comics. It's also possible that they never cared to be super faithful and wanted to experiment.
Since when voice is part of iconography? And they have...
Kevin Michael Richardson voiced The Joker in The Batman.
