I was watching Tourgasm and I seriously think Dane cook should play deadpool, That and I want Reynolds to play the Flash.

I imagine the rock as a lighter version of Luke Cage, but defintly not Deadpool.

The Rock is not a bad suggestion IMO. Hes big enough, he does have the flexible eyebrow, hes not afraid of acting like an idiot (or else how do you explain Scorpion King?) and after Southland Tales flops he will be starving for a good role to get him back in the spotlight. This could be that role. Its crazy, its zany, it involves lots of action and even a little drama.

Deadpool has never been about strength. He relies on agility and reflexes more then he relies on brute force. Get far enough away to get your gun out and start shooting people. And you dont need to look like youre on steroids for that.

no, I doubt anybody ever even had the intention to make it. Like i already said, i don't think Deadpool can carry a 2 hour movie. He'd be a kick ass supporting character though.

Actual if you can find his origin and maybe a good villian any character can pull off a 2 hour movie and the thing about dane cook not being big is just stupid,there is a thing called weight training.

I wouldn't generally think of this guy as the conventional look for deadpool, but Adrian Grenier (vince from entourage) really plays the type of guy who people love well, he can be cheeky and stern equally well

He's not that intimidating phisically, but I figure with the suit on anybody can play Deadpool, when it comes to phisical stuff. All Piven needs to do is look buff enough.

Adrien Grenier just never struck me as the zany, crazy, overly neurotic type. And i don't think he can pull it off quite frankly. Sure, maybe he's funny, but not in a "hahaha, I'm gonna kill ya *giggle*" sort of way.

And even though I introduced the idea of Dane Cook, it was before he became the definitative mediocre comedic ****e of this generation.

The first part of his "Jessica trilogy", London had the least potential to suck, and it did utterly. And all he had was a supporting role in that, which he wasn't very good in. Employee of the Month and Good Luck Chuck have an even high probality of awfulness on a much higher scale and profile.

Yeah, threads merged with polls generally bite the big one. I think that in the time that I've been here we've had about three different polls appear in the main Iron Man thread.

Seeing as how you started the original thread, BT18, I'd suggest you make a new thread with a better poll with some of the names mentioned and have that thread merged with this one; be sure to ask that your poll be the one displayed.

Who's Vince?

Vince he's character in entourage, because it seemed like you were basing your opinion about him or his acting ability off something, and if you meant that he doens't seem zany in entourage that would be because the role doesn't require it, but i feel he could pull it off, i mean who would of thought topher grace would get the role as the suicidal villain in spider-man but thats the beauty of actors, they're trained to become other people

Piven would be awesome. I still like Dane in the front, but Piven has great delivery

Really for me it's not just his random nature but Dane Cook's voice that really makes me feel he IS Deadpool. I realize and agree he is a mediocre comedian, but on top of that he has DP's personality. On tourgasm he is incredibly competitive, seems to be decent with a paintball gun, and has a very bipolar personality.

as much as i think Dane Cook would be a perfect Deadpool, I also think that the movie should at least delve into Wade Wilson's past and reveal what he did look like before the Weapon X operation as well as what he looked like after. Dane Cook would be perfect for Deadpool pre Weapon X and with some make up disfiguring his face and appearance he'd make a perfect one for Deadpool after Weapon X.
