Dane Cook is just as silly as Deadpool. He is perfect for the role, but I would be happy with Reynolds as well as a few others.

All we really need for Deadpool is someone who can say funny things and act when the mask is off. Look at the Spider Man movies. Toby didn't need to be in the costume for more than a couple of minutes and at the end. Deadpool could be completely voiced over by someone who can actually be funny and a stuntman in the costume.

but Willem Dafoe was in the costume as much as possible because since you couldnt see his face he wanted to be very animated. So you need a stuntman who is very animated (almost like Jim Carrey) or throw the actor in the suit everyonce in awhile which i dont think is out of the question.

Plus, DP should only be shown without a mask once at most not counting pre-scarring scenes.

He did as Capt. Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly. It was pretty dry though, as that was a necessity for the character.
