Deadpool & Wolverine Deadpool & Wolverine News and General Discussion Thread

It is provable if you watch Deadpool & Wolverine. What they said was false and wrong. To me, that's a lie.
Vile, I in general like you. But sometimes your fanboy card shows too much and makes you sound less like a critic and more like an angry fanboy. This is one such exchange showcasing that. So, enjoy whatever you want to believe.

I disagree. Look no further than what Fox did to Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the attitude Fox executives had about their version of Deadpool for that film.

Something so bad and awful, the Deadpool movie wouldn't even acknowledge as something other than a joke. Something so awful they blatantly ignored this version for the Deadpool films.

No one liked this. No one liked this except the people in charge of the film who demanded it and made it happen.

We could never even see actual Sentinels in the X-Men movies because Tom Rothman hated the idea of the X-Men fighting giant robots.

But that's not every project. The Daredevil season you're referencing had been held in high praise for years. There is more than one way to skin a cat, but all through this debate, you're not listening to reason or nuance. You have an inflexible view here based on bitterness stemming from what you personally want a superhero project to be, and I can only repeat the same points a certain number of ways before it becomes tedious. So in short, at least I am done here and I have said my peace. Take or leave it

I never said it was. You're putting words in my mouth. Also, I disagree about Daredevil Season 3. It's many projects over a number of years.

Oh I only watched a video of that YouTube channel, when Shakira came on a guest.

I didn't know actors also make a guest appearance there for promotions.

I hate spicy foods.

Yeah Chris Hemsworth did one a couple months ago for Furiosa as well. He gets some impressive guests on there quite a bit.

It does seem like a popular YouTube channel.
Yeah it's pretty popular. When they first started it 10 years ago, a lot of their guests were either up and coming or internet celebs. But now they book a lot of well known celebrities.

Yes to more practical sets. I don't think paparazzi pictures would hurt a movie like this. Only the super fans who are terminally online would care if someone is seen at the set, and those people are likely to be watching the movie in the opening weekend anyway.

This was a fun film throughout. I enjoyed all the cameos and the action was pure excellence. Emma Corrin was absolutely amazing as Cassandra Nova. I hope we see her again down the road.

I did enjoy this movie solid film entertaining as hell and the jokes were pure gold

The physical sets definitely help the movie. Even though the locations aren't all that elaborate.
Its unusual not to here talk of "ropey CGI" whenever a big comic book movie comes out from anyone these days but thinking back on the movie there wasnt a great deal of CGI moments it seems like even in the fights which is nice change of pace. Some of the best moments though were just the two leads in a scene in a small space at times anyway.

This was awesome and everything I wanted from a good comic book movie and a long-awaited team up with Reynolds and Jackman.

Great jokes, fun and well shot action, Wolverine stealing the show and some really unexpected and cool cameos. And these cameos should've been what MoM was aiming for. Haven't felt goosebumps like this since Endgame and No Way Home. This was way better than anything Phases 4 and 5 have put so far.

The story makes little sense and Cassandra Nova is another run of the mill MCU villain, but everything else almost makes up for it. My partner loved it, the whole audience loved it. Seeing it again today.

8/10.

Yep, and pics/clips from physical sets can generate a lot of hype and can be super-memorable.
