See the thing that got me was when Talia was talking about her mother and father meeting in woodstock. In Son of the Demon, Ra's was out for revenge on the guy who killed his wife. This would be easily dismissed if it wasn't for the fact that they brought Damian back. Stuff in "Birth" and "Son" just didn't mesh. So it's all especially confusing in Ra's Year One. In the prologue it mentions Ra's being born to a tribe of Arabic nomads (which he is in Birth), yet the Son story is back in continuity?

All I know is, this story is one of the most satisfying origin story's I've ever read. The way he literally became the "Demon's Head".. bloody brilliant. He was such a good man, and then, just like many other arch bat foes, came that ONE day. The day that birthed the demon. I also loved the fight between him and Bruce. That might have been the most dramatic battle I've ever seen Batman engage in. Must Read for every Bat-fan.
